I stumbled on this place through DoorDash. I decided to go in person and try it and BOY AM I GLAD I DID. This place is wonderful, I got the banana mocha (has alcohol) and it was delicious. For my breakfast I got the monte cristo and it was amazing. The avocado burrito was also ordered and it looked amazing. I was told it was so good. I’ll definitely be bringing my friends over here for breakfast. This place is nice and quiet. So wonderful!

Not for vegans when we went!

Although there are vegan options on the menu not much was available. We chose the vegan sausage scramble. As they were out of sweet potatoes and forgot the avocado, it consisted of the vegan sausage, which is gluten-free, on a bed of mostly raw spinach a bit of arugula, no dressing. Who wants to eat a bowl of spinach as is? They got us dressing, which was very sweet, didn’t have olive oil. We added the vegan chorizo and some potatoes. Unfortunately they were out of Just Egg. There are gluten-free bread options. We didn’t have them hence not sure that they are vegan.

This entire area isn’t great for vegans. Quite disappointing.

This has been my go-to place for years! Living within walking distance, my boyfriend and I come here pretty often, and always have a wonderful time and great experience; the vibes are always amazing. The owners are incredibly kind, as well as all of the waitstaff. They serve his favorite eggs benedict in the 757, as well as an amazing breakfast burrito! If you want a great breakfast or brunch experience, this is the place for you! ❤️

I love the aesthetic of this place. Everyone is so polite and approachable. They have 2 dressing that I am currently obsessed with (lemon | lavender) both made in house. I go to spot for a nice vegan brunch. (Finding vegan option restaurant becomes a pain .. they have a good amount of vegan options)

The most beautiful place ever! My friend and I came in for some brunch. I got the B. L. A. T. Sandwich, without the avocado, it was really good, the creamy dill and mayo sauce I didn’t love with the sandwich but on its own it was good. My friend got the build your own breakfast bowl with bacon and sausage, Swiss cheese and hollandaise sauce which she loved. I loved their bold rock seasonal and their grinch Man-Mosa and my friend got the espresso martini and a classic orange juice mamosa. Willow was our server, she was amazing and very attentive. We will be coming back!

Long have I had the tradition of visiting the Starving Artist Cafe on my way out of town, and not once have I ever been disappointed.

Great food, great menu, great atmosphere, great staff.

I didn’t catch their name, but the taller person with the pink in their brown hair who served me and my 3 friends today (1/3/2026) was so very helpful, kind, and wonderful.

Also as a side note they were absolutely gorgeous and I hope yall have a blessed day

They have a few vegan options. The vegan burrito was pretty good. Once I added the local hot sauce it became a great burrito. The fruit cup was a fresh combination of pineapple, strawberries, and blueberries. Give them a try!

This place is very good. I had the double pancakes and despite my best efforts I was unable to eat them both along with the potatoes and eggs. The food is delicious. I don’t go back as often as I’d like, but try it if you’re in the area.

This quaint little cafe is a great find. The walls are decorated with local artist creations and they have a display case of fresh baked goods.

We went in during brunch on a Sunday early afternoon and while the restaurant was crowded, we were lucky to get a table right away.

The menu has brunch options as well as sandwiches, soup of the day, and salads. What we got:

Single Blueberry Pancakes – Size is very generous, so much so that is was larger than the plate! It was more thin than what I’m used to, so it was a little bit more dry and chewy but the flavor was good and the blueberries were fresh.

We also ordered the Soup of the Day which was Broccoli & Cheese. The only thing is we ordered a cup and was brought the bowl and charged for the bowl.

The Starving Artist Special was their breakfast plate of bacon, eggs, potatoes, and toast. Bacon was perfectly crispy as requested. The eggs were missing the cheese that was requested so it was brought out after. The disappointment with that is the cheese never melted.

Bathroom: There is only one single-use bathroom for everyone . I liked the painted bright walls. There is a changing table but the pad is a bit worn, but I imagine most parents will have a changing pad to put over it. Bathroom rating: 4

I cannot say enough about this cute little spot. My family and I had called ahead to another restaurant a few doors down. We were a party of 11 on Oct 19, and we were told we could be accommodated but they don’t take reservations. Upon arriving there, that was not the case. We were not able to be sat and so we needed to find another place to eat. I was standing on the sidewalk and looking in my phone for other places and happened to notice some bright pink. I saw that is was a restaurant and walked over to see if they could help us. I first apologized for even showing up with 11 people without calling a head or making a reservation. I have been in the service industry in many different roles over the years, and would never! I explained what happened down the street and asked if there was any way they could help us. I totally understood if not. The very sweet lady who helped said they actually have a covered porch area in the back that was not being used if we were open to it, and if we would just be patient with them as they were full. We were happy to take them up and glad we did. We had a guy that was our server and he was great. We immediately got drinks. He continued to ask for our patience but it was no problem at all. We were so happy not to have to drive around or call looking for a place. He was wonderful. The FOOD was SO GOOD!. I have celiac disease and must be gluten free. They had a lot of options for me. The drinks were amazing the food was amazing and the service was top notch!! If you get a chance stop in and give them a try!! As for me, I’ll definitely be back! Thanks again for not making us feel terrible and making room for our crew!!
