As for the food, I appreciate that there’s not a crazy amount of options. It’s mainly Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, Texas Toast, Coleslaw and their Cane’s sauce. Their drink options include: fountain dinks, iced tea, and lemonade. We learned that the lemonade is made in-house and freshly squeezed each day, which was actually pretty delicious. We got The Box combo so we could try a little of everything. The toast was nicely buttered and toasty. The chicken fingers and coleslaw were just average tasting. The chicken was fried well and juicy on the inside but it felt like it lacked a bit of flavor. It wasn’t bland but I guess if you dipped in into the sauce, it’s their saving grace. The Cane’s Sauce is really good, by the way. The coleslaw tasted as I expected so nothing really stood out to me.
There are 2 family restrooms with changing tables. It was nice, clean and well stocked with paper products. High chairs are available outside the restrooms. And the service we received was great!
the chicken was still bland, no salt or pepper or any seasoning. the fries were better, had salt but so basic, tasted like something you would hey from the frozen food section. the bread is just gross, one side was ripped off and the buttered side had a bad taste.

Just meh…. The chicken had no flavor, breading was crispy on the chicken. We had 13 tenders and some were large and some were very small. the fries had no salt and no flavor. the canes sauce and the dr pepper was the best part. the bread was thick but no flavor, we threw it away. Don’t bother coming here, go anywhere else instead to get good chicken.
When I heard Raising Cane’s was finally coming to Jacksonville, you already know I had to pull up — and let me tell you, no regrets here whatsoever.
From the moment I hit the Oakleaf location, the vibe was on point. The team had smiles all around, the music was right, and the energy was crazy good. It’s rare you feel genuine pride and hospitality in a fast-food line, but this crew delivers it every single time.
The chicken fingers? Straight-up golden perfection — crispy outside, juicy inside, and always fresh out the fryer. The fries stay hot, the Texas toast is buttery heaven, and that signature Cane’s sauce? Still undefeated.
Even when the line wraps around the building, they keep it flowing like pros — fast, friendly, and efficient. You can tell this team actually enjoys what they do, and that makes the whole experience stand out.
If you’re anywhere near Oakleaf, Argyle Forest, or the Westside, do yourself a favor and stop by. This isn’t just another chain spot — it’s a reminder that good food and good people still exist right here in Duval.
Big shoutout to the Oakleaf Cane’s crew — y’all didn’t just bring the flavor, you brought the feeling. ✨
Going back to the staff. The people they were doing an absolutely amazing job. They were all over the place and kept it together, considering the amount of people that were there. There was multiple people out in the dining areas asking if there was anything that you needed whether you would like a refill or if you had any trash that you needed removed. Extremely friendly and very attentive, especially since this is what I’m assuming to be a type of fast food restaurant. They truly went above and beyond to make sure that each, and every customer keeping in mind there was a bunch of them Was taken care of.
I will definitely be returning and do highly recommend that you check this out. I can see it being a place I drive to you from Middleburg just to get some chicken tenders. Especially when things calm down just a little bit.
Thank you to all the staff and the cooks. Y’all are doing an amazing job. Keep up the good work and I see this being a great place that’s going to be around for a long time.
This was my second visit to Raising Cane’s my first somewhere along Route 66. My gf lived in a state where they are abundantly present
We ordered the box which has 4 chicken pieces, fries, coleslaw, and garlic bread. We added an additional coleslaw and garlic bread, total cost $14.21 out the door for two people.
The restaurant has a seating capacity of 52 indoor and 30 seats outdoors. This restaurant at 1pm with heavy rain was packed. This might be a challenge during sunny skies but worth the effort.
Certainly we’ll be back
