We came here for a nightcap after dinner and loved it. It’s super cozy, with comfy chairs, a beautiful chandelier hangs above the bar, excellent service and really good drinks. The interior is French-inspired and beautiful. Definitely recommend.

My partner and I came last Wednesday close to closing hour. The bartender was sweet and made one of the best dirty martini with gin that we’ve had in a while. Well-balanced and smooth to drink. The atmosphere was beautiful. We will definitely be coming back again.

This is one of our new favorite spots for cocktails. This is the perfect place for a date night or drinks with a few friends. Every single cocktail here is delicious, but the espresso martini is particularly wonderful. The establishment is small and cozy but beautifully decorated with a French romantic feel. The staff here is so friendly and attentive. I highly suggest making this a regular stop.

Went to Cheval on a Tuesday late afternoon. Beautiful place for a cocktail. Gorgeous gothic look with antique wooden bar and circular conversational tables. Many drink options to choose from. Not sure if they provide food. It was February so we were a bit cold in the corner near the windows. Bartender was okay. Made good drinks but not 100% menu knowledgeable or friendly. Needs to work on his presentation of the cocktail and not pull old wrinkled napkins out of his apron. We enjoyed experiencing something different in KC.

If you are considering coming here, just do it. You will not be disappointed! Where else can you find an amazing $10 espresso martini and old fashioned in Kansas City? The atmosphere, decor, hospitality, and cocktails are top notch. Huge shoutout to Tommy, who was probably the nicest hospitality worker I’ve ever encountered. I wish we would have known about this place sooner, we will definitely be back.

Beautiful, classy, chill bar right off the streetcar line. The cocktails are innovative and delicious, with a strong point of view (try the snakebite) and the NA selections are thoughtful and well balanced. Service is warm and attentive without being overwhelming. Highly recommend either for a special occasion or as a serendipitous treat.

We have now had two great experience here! The cocktails are all delicious. A good wine selection. The small bites also were very good. Staff is very friendly and the vibe is comfortable. Prices are as expected (around $15 per cocktail). We will definitely be back!

stopped in tonight for a post-dinner drink. my partner and i both got 2 of the “couture cocktails” (aka bartender’s choice). I requested elderflower in both of mine, and my partner got a whiskey and a vodka-based drink. the bartender absolutely knocked it out of the park – all 4 drinks were incredible! we enjoyed the ambiance and will def be returning soon.
