Knocked out this good Waterton Canyon hike and was hungry for something new so pulled up to @therustytapp and I’m so glad I did.

Usually I’m talking about the food but I’m going to start with the service. The waitress Danielle was one of the most pleasant people I’ve met in a while and several customers knew her but name. They need to give her an instant raise.

And luckily the food was just as good, in fact very good. The spicy BBQ sauce has great kick and the hot link and burnt ends had great flavor and always a sucker for steak fries! Definitely need to come back and try their specials

The barbecue is Texas style barbecue so naturally, being from Texas, I am very picky! I will definitely be back! The brisket is perfectly smoked and the spicy addition to the sweet sauce was well done!

The Rusty Tap – Littleton, CO

What a gem. The Rusty Tap nails that perfect balance between laid-back local bar and elevated hangout spot. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is welcoming — the kind of place where you can actually relax, chat, and enjoy your drink without shouting over a crowd.

The staff here are genuinely friendly and attentive — you can tell they care about their regulars but are just as warm to newcomers. The beer selection is top-notch, with a mix of local Colorado brews and some creative rotating taps that keep things fresh. Their cocktails are surprisingly well-crafted for a neighborhood bar — the kind of mixology you’d expect downtown, not tucked away in Littleton.

The food deserves a shoutout too. Whether it’s their loaded fries, sliders, or shareable apps, everything comes out hot and full of flavor. It’s clear someone in the kitchen actually takes pride in what they’re serving.

The Rusty Tap feels like the kind of place that quickly becomes your spot — where you end up staying “for one drink” and realize two hours later you’ve been laughing with friends and the bartender knows your name.

Highly recommend for anyone in the Littleton area looking for great drinks, a cozy vibe, and genuinely good people behind the bar.

10/10 experience food & atmosphere! My family had been recommended here by an old school mate of the owner. We were absolutely delighted by the recommendation and left happy. We got a variety of items for the table and everything was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Sauces were great. Sides were great. Everything you’d hope for at a BBQ place and more, it was cozy! Will be back to try… everything else!

This is hands-down, one of our favorite barbecue places in Denver, Colorado. It’s small, but it’s mighty! The barbecue is smoked and prepared in house and they have some of the most fun appetizers like barbecue eggrolls that are actually barbecue eggrolls!! The French dip is amazing and the brisket sandwich is mouth watering. They serve local beer like vanilla ale from living the dream brewery, Littleton, CO and Hazy IPA from Well Works in Denver. The patio is dog friendly and shaded and they always make our pup feel welcome with a few small bites of brisket! Five stars from us- cheers!!

I’m here at least twice a week and for good reason! The staff are great, friendly and welcoming and the food is top notch! Tino’s Brisket Taco’s on Tuesday are amazing, the Smoked wings on Thursday are on point and the Breakfast Burrito’s all day Saturday and Sunday hit the spot! The homemade Banana Pudding and Chocolate cake are not to miss either! Stop in and check them out, you won’t regret it

We went on a Saturday night at 6:30 and the place was dead. The meat was all cold and didn’t taste that good, the fries were hard and cold. I wouldn’t recommend.

The rating here depends on what you’re looking for. The prime rib sandwich really is excellent. If you’re looking for that, it’s 5 stars. However, as a bbq place this was not good. The brisket was extremely dry and gray. The pulled pork wasn’t much better. The kielbasa was good though.

I love beef brisket but I don’t know what they just served me it was the fattiest lightest colored beef brisket I have ever eaten it was not good at all and my friend did not like the pulled pork sandwich either! From the reviews it looks like a lot of people have broken taste buds

The waitress/hostess was sweet kind and helpful. The brisket was dry as dust as was the pork ribs. Best green beans anywhere. Grateful I ordered a tea, because it took a mouthful to be able to swallow every single bite of meat. Meat has no seasonings at all, no smoke ring period, just overcooked meat at 100% way to high temperature. How can you 100% dry out pork ribs!?!, and then brisket?? .. spent an hr on the toilet 50 minutes after leaving. Sauced were not homemade.
Just shockingly pitiful and as the highest GOOGLE reviewer in the country, I would confidently not recommend this place.
