New to the area. Rec’d a welcome coupon and loved all the positive feedback so we tried. Over the top GREAT! The Grandma was literally off the hook! Top it with their chop salad??!!! CRAZY good! Their gravy was unbelievable. I’m a huge fan TY!!!

I have to give Amano Pizza in Matawan 5 stars because it’s the best pizza place in the area for sure! Their upside Sicilian is FANTASTIC! I have not had a better upside slice in all the places I went to in Middlesex or Monmouth County thus far. The sauce is so flavorful and absolutely delicious! It has a nice crisp on the bottom too. The pizza here is crispy, and they don’t skimp on quality ingredients or cheese. My next favorite is the white slice with broccoli, and it’s even better when I add tomatoes too. I love the quality ricotta cheese and again they don’t skimp! The margarita here is also delicious here, but every time I come it’s rarely available. They say their grandma square slice is similar, but the actual Margarita slice is much better. My husband loves their regular cheese slice. I highly recommend Amano’s in Matawan!

I live in Georgia, and unfortunately you cant get good pizza in the south,my son ordered a small chicken Caesar salad pizza, a pepperoni pizza and a cheese pizza, they use a vodka sauce that is delicious their crust is laden with sesame seeds and keeps it’s crunch from beginning to end,the Chicken Caesar salad pizza is something everyone should try, I told my son from now on to order from Amanos.

Remember when you saw pizza in the cartoons as a kid and wondered why it couldn’t be that good in real life? Well this pizza is that good. Ordered a buffalo chicken ranch. Chicken was excellent; not chewy or overcooked. Whatever barbecue sauce they use is great. I never eat my crust but apparently that changed tonight.
I live 3 1/2 miles away and requested it be delivered; even after the trip, the pizza was still a 10/10.
Will be ordering from here for now on!

This is honestly one of the best pizza places I’ve tried in NJ. The brooklyn upside down was particularly fantastic. The sauce is nice and tangy. The owners were also incredibly nice. This would definitely be my go to place if I lived nearby.

I want to thank Brian and the staff for always showing what true customer service looks like. Apart from that Amanos has been a staple for me in Aberdeen, the pizza is always delicious, the reward system is awesome perk to have and actually gives good deals. I enjoy they are on rakuten which helps with money back. But most importantly the service is always exceptional, everytime I walk in I am acknowledged with kindness. As always Amano pizza never fails on quality all the way around. I had a plate of shrimp parmesan was a more than generous portion. Also my server was great and the price for what I had was more than reasonable. This has been my go to place for a while and will be for a long time to come!!

We were celebrating my daughter’s 16th birthday at a nearby water park with her friends, and after a full day of fun, sunshine, and laughter, we wanted to finish it off with something special and wow, this place did not disappoint!
We ordered two cheese pizzas, one buffalo, and one margherita, and every single one was amazing. But the real showstopper was the crust: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and full of that homemade flavor that makes every bite unforgettable. You can tell this isn’t just pizza—it’s made with passion.
We also ordered two Caesar salads, and they were super fresh and absolutely delicious. The lettuce was crisp, the croutons perfectly crunchy, and the dressing was just right. You can tell they take pride in every detail.
I’ve tried a lot of pizzerias across New Jersey and New York, and honestly, I believe this one stands out above the rest. There’s just something special about the flavor, the quality, and the welcoming atmosphere.
