Had the opportunity to stop into Slate Eatery for a photoshoot. Noah, Dominic, Violet, and Donika we’re all accommodating and treated me like family. They do take a little time to cook, but the presentation and quality are superb. If you are looking for just overall good family dining atmosphere and tasty food, I’d recommend stopping in!

Nothing special. I got the Irish omelette which was a little over $16. Ingredients inside were just canned corn beef hash, canned mushrooms, and cheese. I would think for an omelette that expensive you wouldn’t use canned ingredients. I got hash browns and tomato slices on the side. Tomato slices were pale and not fresh, hash browns were perfectly cooked and crispy but bland. They left me with grape jelly (even though I had no toast) in the bag but no ketchup. I don’t get the hype, maybe just skip breakfast? Front doors are broken and inside is small, a little messy but not bad. Service was good.

My coworker and I stopped here for lunch around 2pm. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was clean and aesthetically pleasing. The food tasted fresh and came quickly. I would recommend Slate for anyone in the area looking for a nice sit down restaurant.

Went in for the $1.09 money’s and my tip was more than my hill. I almost felt guilty paying so little for my food. It’s a,small place but clean and nice. I will definitely go back and try some other menu items.

I am glad that these smaller dinner still exist. There is just something special about these places. I got the skate breakfast special.. it includes everything pictured except the bacon which I ordered separately.

discovered this place when they opened and they have been clearly investing in it ever since which I think is great! the food is good, the menu is big but not overwhelming and the service is spot on! they are even installing a bar! Hope they do well and definitely worth stopping in.

When i went there last weekend i ordered come chicken tenders and fries and the owners son slammed it on the table when he came to serve it to me. He then proceeded to talk bad about me and my family in albanian not knowing that i speak it fluently. The younger more good looking son was very nice and apologized to me and offered to comp my meal. I bit into the chicken tenders and they tasted like plastic and the bathrooms smelled awful like someone hasn’t cleaned them in weeks. Save ur time and money and don’t come here.
