Absolutely the best wood-fired pizza in the Brookhaven area! The flavors are outstanding, and the crust is perfectly crisp. The service is top-notch – attentive, friendly, and always eager to ensure a great dining experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious pizza.

Avellino’s is the perfect little neighborhood pizzeria. Their wood fired pizzas have a great char. The Zucchine Fritte were a surprise! The batter was so light and crispy, these are the best starter. The arancini was just ok, the rice filling didn’t have a lot of flavor in my opinion. I’ve definitely had more exciting arancini. The eggplant parmesan was also great though. It had a nice crispy outer layer and the eggplant was sliced so thinly. We also took cannoli to go and those were tasty as well! The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant is a quaint little bar and dining area with a patio area for nice weather days. They do have fans and umbrellas out there for the heat and sun. Parking can be iffy but be sure to check towards the back of the building.

This was an excellent pizza joint! The place is a bit small, but the service was extremely friendly. We tried the Rustica pizza, which was delicious. The sauce was sweet and tangy and balanced nicely with the cheese, pancetta, and the toasty wood fired crust. The arancini was also quite the nice starter. If you’re looking for a new pizza place, Avellino’s won’t disappoint!

We spent a lovely evening with friends on the outside patio. The service was great. The Mediterranean salad and Margherita pizza were excellent.

This was our go to pizzeria but the portions have gone done to the point that there are better choices. Ordered a pizza with pepperoni and a third of the pizza was crust and missing part of the pie. The cheese bread was a good appetizer but it has shrunk to half its size.

This is our friends favorite pizza place so he invited us to try it. It was a bit of a hike as we live in Midtown but worth it.
We started with some appetizers and then we ordered the pizza and wine combo three times. The combo comes with one pizza and a wine bottle for $40. Totally worth it. It was six of us and we drank all three bottles.
The pizzas are sized that you can share with someone or have one by yourself. You may not finish it but leftovers are always good.
I would highly recommend trying it out.

This review is for takeout only. We ordered online at 7:45 pm on a Saturday and it was ready in 20 minutes.
Here’s what we got:
– Burrata ($12.50): Good, but probably not worth $12.50.
– Eggplant Parmigiana ($16.50): Average, especially for the price. I’ve definitely had better in the Atlanta area. Came with a side salad which was literally lettuce and tomatoes. At least give me some cucumbers, maybe even some onions.
– Create a Pizza with mushrooms & pineapple ($12.50 + $2 for toppings): The sauce was super good and sweet. Again, not sure $14.50 for a 12-inch pizza is worth it. The Create a Pizza should come with at least 2 toppings built-in.
Expensive for not the best food. The pizza was good, but everything else was eh.

Avellino’s is a little off the beaten path but definitely worth plugging the address into your GPS and finding it. Service was friendly and attentive with the food coming out very quickly. Excellent wood fired pizzas complimented with an exceptional beer selection.

Isolana and cheesy bread are delicious!!! Best pizza spot in the area. Idk how to describe it but the pizza is “juicy” for lack of a better word. Also the vibe is immaculate and the service is great. A must try if you’re nearby.
