Best real real real Cajun, like when you’re in the bathroom, you can smell the butter. It is so good. Tyrone and Philip are the best managers on the staff are so amazing. They don’t even require a tip. But you should give them one. Because the food is phenomenal.
I am not Cajun, I am from Florida, and now I live in Arizona, but my husband is Cajun, and he says, the real Cajun food is not Creole. It is Cajun, no tomato sauce here. That’s Cajun, this stuff is good. The pork etoufee is, like a big piece of chicken buts its fried pork even better. It’s with lots of yummy yummy, yummy, yummy etoufee sauce with the crawfish butter cream and rice on it see the pictures n it. It’s even end of October, and it’s still good. So I request that they move this to a Nationwide Enterprise for all people everywhere to experience tbis amazing real Cajun food, please get onboard and open you one. People no joke. Cork’s Cajun Fied Fish and Shrimp everywhere!!! Please please follow Tyrone, Mike and Phillips recipe but ask them first and open your own Franchise. It can only be from the real deals.

I am just a just a customer. I am not affiliated with them, but I am impressed 100,000%. Go try it all!! The sweet rolls, rice and beans, the real pork etoufee with the crawfish rice and the sauce is just to die for. Including the gumbo, get it. While you can don’t miss out.
If you do your nuts and if you can help promote them, get them all over the country. S9 everyone can enjoy real Cajun food PLEASE please. I’m from Arizona. They need you out there big time.

Got a baked potato with fried shrimp for dine in and it was delicious! I had to get a to-go box it was so huge.

We visited this Cajun spot with another family and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The marshes potato and the shrimp and grits were absolutely delicious—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Cajun food and a warm, inviting atmosphere!

Very simple but inviting decor. Staff is extremely courteous and professional at all times. The food is fresh and delicious, Etoufee is one of my personal favorites and fried catfish is quite good as well. One of the best drive thru seafood restaurants in Baton Rouge. Check them out if you’re on Government St.

Oh Cork’s how I love you. Let me count the ways…1) Hands down the best shrimp poboy I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot!!. The shrimp are seasoned, battered and cooked to perfection
2) The bread for the poboy is perfect. When you fold the sandwich to eat it, it doesn’t break in half. It holds everything in. And that’s a lot, because they stuff it with lots of yumminess (is that a word? ♀️)
3) Those sauces! The tartar, cocktail, remoulade…OMG. I put all three on that poboy then I took turns dipping my fries in each. They are soooo good!
4) Finally, the beignet bites… Oh lawd! That is like a little bite of heaven. Unlike other beignets that are soft inside and out, Cork”s bites have a crisp on the outside that soaks up that powdered sugar and almost makes a glaze. I have no words! Except: Go Get Some Now!!!

I was getting ready to place my order and stepped into the restroom to wash my hands. Unfortunately, there was no soap available and the toilet paper dispenser was stuck. It raised some concerns for me because these small details can reflect how carefully a restaurant maintains its overall environment.
I truly hope this was an oversight and that the staff has proper handwashing access in the kitchen. For my own peace of mind, I decided not to stay this time, but I hope the restaurant addresses these issues because it has the potential to be a great place to dine.

My husband and son drove through Baton Rouge in December of ’23 and stopped in to eat here. They came home with a menu and rave reviews about how delicious the food was. Said menu has been on our fridge the whole time. Today on our way to Biloxi we knew we were stopping at Corks. We drove 7 hours from South Texas & were NOT let down. The restaurant was clean. The young lady who helped us was extremely helpful, hospitable, courteous. The food *chefs kiss!!* I couldn’t believe the quality of the food for what looked like a fast food restaurant. We had the pork chops w crawfish etouffee and blacked shrimp. Everything was dynamite. We will definitely be back the next time we are near Baton Rouge. ♡

This place is definitely top tier with service and food… I ordered through the drive through and Broderick was very helpful with the customer service… I ordered the shrimp poboy with fries and the half fish/half shrimp poboy with fries… I can’t lie, the food was amazing and filled with flavor… I’m definitely coming back whenever I’m in town This place is a must try, you will not be disappointed… Also that corks sauce is amazing, its a must try as well

I went on a Thursday stayed in line for 10 min not long. Ordered crawfish etouffee w/shrimp and lemonade. The lemonade tasted too sweet and it had a taste of soap in it. Very odd flavor. The etouffee and shrimp was good going down. But an hour later I didn’t feel well . I’m not allergic to seafood. But for 27 dollars total, my first experience was not great eating here. I will not be going again

Yummy. Great Cajun food. Had the grits and shrimp and baked potato in their shrimp etouffee sauce. Had their fried fish, shrimp and hush puppies too. All great food.
Service was also great. The cashier was super patient with us out of towners.
