Minas Café is a wonderful spot to enjoy Brazilian food. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious, and the server was very friendly and welcoming. There’s also a nearby parking lot with hourly rates, which makes it convenient. The ambiance was pleasant and gave a nice vibe—our whole family really enjoyed the experience. Definitely a must-try, and we’re already planning to visit again. The only thing I noticed missing was a Wi-Fi network for internet access.

Warning, I have heard from several people but I wanted to try it anyway. The worst service experience in town and OVERPRICED. We visited Minas with my family, we asked for pastries, and drinks, the food was staled, the people at front had the worst attitude. We respectfully asked to exchange the food but they declined and we were further advised that “since the staled food had been served we had to pay for it”. No apologies or sorry for the inconvenience. These people act as if they do NOT need customers. We do no mind the prices and tips. We tip extra for great food and great service. I hope they change their food and their negative approach to members of the Kearny community. This place, their food and their employees are just not welcoming.

horrible service, we were “served “ by this waiter named Bianca. We walked in at 11pm waited 20 min to get some sort of attention from one of the girls working, all we got were dirty looks and attitude from her and the other girls there. We already knew what we wanted when we walked in but they took forever to give us the menus and she didn’t even bother greeting us when handing us the menus. Then she was taking her sweet time walking around in the back for 20 minutes, and once we told her what we wanted she ended up telling us the kitchen was closed and that we can’t order anything from the menu but drinks and they only have available what’s on the shelves. This place is a haven for casual Brazilian food and treats with good prices!! The ambience is nice and the servers are friendly. I was especially impressed with the tapioca w/guava and cheese. I wanted to see how it would compare to my mother-in-laws I also had a burger with bacon and mozzarella, pastel de frango and catupiry, acerola juice and a latte! Everything was delicious! I can’t wait to go back!

The place is wonderful, it has a calm and peaceful vibe. The service is out of this world, our server Thais, very charming managed to deliver what we were wanting to eat. We ate bread with ribs and I can say it was the best sandwich I’ve ever had.
The carrot orange juice was super refreshing and I could feel my body being nourished once again.

We had their Vegetariana (X-Large) Pizza with an Iced Coffee and Hot chocolate. The pizza was really good and is even a good option for vegans. You can also ask them to add or remove some ingredients from the pizza (maybe for some fee). Overall really nice food and good service and atmosphere. They also have some tasty cakes and desserts. Would visit again.

Nice tucked away Cafe with really unique Brazilian food! Got a tomato, ham and cheese breakfast sandwich that was perfectly toasted and absolutely delicious. Cheese bread was a pleasant surprise. Great place if you don’t want to spend too much on breakfast but also get a taste of something different.

We’ve come here three times and everything we’ve tried so far has been delicious. Just be aware that the restaurant can get busy on weekends so come prepared to wait a little bit. Worth the wait! Pastries, sandwiches, coffee, juices, all have been excellent.

As far as bakeries go in Kearny, this is by far the best of them all. I went in around 9 PM today, and I was greeted by the owner himself, Rafael, and his fantastic staff, which, to I would say, is very attentive. I couldn’t get many photos while inside, but I did snag a few at home. I ordered the Steak Tudo, and it took me by surprise within the first couple of bites. Once I tackled that I had a few dessert options to choose from (they have many options) and let me tell you the chocolate covered strawberries are fantastic but I was disappointed as I only brought home two of them. The cakes are delicious and they are very generous with their portions (it’s always welcomed). I would definitely recommend you stop by and give it a try. Now, while they dont deliver yet I was told they will soon and maybe even be featured on a few delivery platforms we all know, I would still say to stop in and support our new local business.
Kearny was missing something new for a long time, and I’m glad and confident that Rafael and his team will do a great job in providing fantastic service.

I came here for breakfast and I ordered “Pão com Manteiga na Chapa”, “Bauru”, which was prepared 100% correctly with a thin slice of ham, one of cheese, slices of tomato and topped with oregano. Perfect taste and accompanied by a large cup of Milk with coffee and sure they provide Brown Sugar as well.
The orange juice is plentiful and tasty.
Not to come here if one expects pizza quality of fast food vendors. This place is awesome for the food and the staff is dedicated to friendly service, Thais M. e Flavia work with a smile which shows this is not a place you come in…then… thank you… next! They acknowledge and speak openly and honestly with the customers.
It makes you feel you’re getting the Brazilian Hospitality away from Home.
