Great for a quick bite! Friendly, lots of combos. The hot dogs are served quickly, hot and really good. The onion sauce is excellent. Two picnic tables are set up for those who want to sit and eat, lots of fast take out.

I have had the most positive experiences with La Madre Maria! When I visit my grandfather on the Jersey Shore, he loves to go out for a hot dog! This summer we stopped at La Madre Maria truck. We had the best experience thanks to the friendly service. We felt like family and enjoyed our hot dogs with great conversation with Joe. It’s a must stop for some really delicious hotdogs! Their hot onions are to die for, mixed with their chili makes a really tasty treat! Oh as they come over the counter you can just taste the aroma from the hot onions! I’ve tried their hot onions on the double italian hotdog with the peppers and potatoes and WOW! YOU NEVER HAD A DOUBLE LIKE THIS! Gotta stop on by with friends or family for lunch! There’s a pretty big selection on their menu! Coming back soon to try the onions on their cheesesteak!!!

Wow, all I can say is wow! I just inhaled the hot dogs I got from this food truck. They were out of this world. 10/10. I’ve drove past a bunch of times and then decided to finally go. I’m so happy I went. The owner is also soooo welcoming and sweet. Can’t wait to come back and bring some friends. 🙂

Italian dog was great. Hot dogs are all beef and pizza bread had a good bite. Sampled the chili and hot onions, both homemade, and they were fantastic. Will definitely be back!

If you’re looking for Newark style Italian hot dogs, you have to check out La Madre Maria’s. It’s hard to find places in the shore area that makes an authentic Italian hot dog. DELICIOUS! Father and son are super nice people also.
