My first time here at Rain Cafe and I
very impress. I order the Fruit Roasted Tea and the lemon popcorn chicken. The fruit tea has a nice tea flavor with not too over whelming fruit syrups which I really like. The tea is very refreshing. Now for the popcorn chicken. It is my first time trying lemon pepper flavor. Trust me it is so good. Not too oily but fresh and crispy. I can taste the lemon and pepper flavor! With comes with a ranch sauce too. For $8! The portion is huge. I will be back!

Found clumps of something slimy and burnt part on my curry
I think they served me old or leftover curry! Honestly disgusted and there were so many bugs flying in front of my face too

I bought a salmon rice bowl today, and at first everything seemed fine—the food was just okay. But then I found an insect walking in the rice! I almost ate it because it looked like a black sesame seed. Totally unacceptable and disgusting. I lost my appetite immediately 🙁

I always order the avocado smoothie, but recently it never tastes the same or consistent, and today was unfortunately no different. You can feel the ice crunch, or sometimes it is watery and tasteless.
There is one girl with fun pins that always made my drinks right and creamy, but I haven’t seen her for couple weeks, and I don’t think the other workers have been trained perhaps… It’s not worth it to order certain drinks here anymore.
Food is the same as always though, pretty good! I like the tonkotsu ramen so much.

Really cozy cafe. I’ve been here twice and anime was playing. It reminds me of the north seattle gossips in Chinatown. I like how the cafe is dim lit and there is an expansive menu of food from ramen to agedashi tofu. If I were 19 I would be coming here regularly. A chill spot and nice vibes. My bubble tea’s were good. Standard bubble tea menu and generic tasting. Service is good and the bubble tea came out quick. I will continue to come by and support.

Rain Cafe is my favorite place to get boba tea!! They also have a wide range of food, anything from mozzarella sticks to agedashi tofu. They have many drinks, like milk teas, coffees, and even a chocolate avocado smoothie that tastes a lot better than it sounds (trust!). They also have good drink toppings, like boba, popping pears, crystal boba, and various jellies. There is plenty of seating making it a great place to go with friends, but also a calm atmosphere, so I frequently go there to study. The line is usually not too long thanks to the efficient and friendly workers. I would 100% recommend 🙂

I needed a place to work a bit before my next appointment. Luckily found this cafe and had a small bite. I was surprised with the variety of food available. Not a typical cafe. It’s like a restaurant/cafe.
I ordered an iced Americano (not pictured) and Agedashi Tofu. It’s unimpressive, but it’s exactly what I needed. Will have to try again and try something different.
Atmosphere is a bit dark. Dark tables and chair. There was a studio keyboard by the entrance. Do they have live music or something?

Thai style beef noodle soup, spam fries, katsu curry and lemon pepper wings are my go-to for studying. Plus jasmine tea + boba. <3
Edit: I misplaced my pepper spray. It was kind of expensive so I called and the kindest soul went to look for it. God bless him. He didn’t find it but bless him.

This is definitely a great place for hanging out with friends who want to drink boba tea and eat some light snacks. There are a lot of spaces for groups to sit and chat. I wouldn’t drive to here by myself just for good food or boba tea. The food options and boba tea have very reasonable prices but not the best compared with other places. Also be aware that there is no table service, it’s has self service like fast food restaurants. You would need to clean everything on your own after dining. But I really appreciate this place is so convenient for friends hanging out or resting after grocery shopping.
