Enjoyed a burger and fries on a warm December day last year and we all enjoyed our meal here. Wait was long but the have great views and we grabbed a drink at the store near by while waiting. Overall we had a good experience here.

Wonderful views from up the Chisos Mountains, it’s definitely worth it! If you’re hungry when you arrive, there is a nice little restaurant where food ain’t gonna be wow but will do the job for sure! And there is a tiny shop as well next to the restaurant. All staff were ver friendly.

wonderful view and atmosphere, especially after returning from a long day of backcountry hiking. alligator bites were great, but main entrees were slightly less impressive. remember you’re paying for the view and experience!

If you are planning on viewing the Window sunset, it would behoove you to eat dinner here, or at least grab a drink. Great view, an excellent reprieve from the desert heat, and the menu is robust (while perhaps a touch expensive, but we are in the desert). They also have a variety of themed cocktails, of which I got the one themed after The Window.

And the gift shop right next to it is fantastic. Great selection.

Went here for dinner after hiking the window trail. Immediately it had a positive energy from everyone who came from enjoying the park. The food was good even though it was a little pricey for what it was, but that is to be expected. The views were absolutely beautiful. We could watch the sunset over the mountains. The only thing that could have been better was the service. The whole meal out waiter spoke only to me and completely ignored my boyfriend. From forgetting his order in the beginning through the end of our meal, he only looked or talked TO me and ABOUT him. It was subtle but it was enough to be rude and a bit uncomfortable. It made us feel unwelcome in what should have been a lovely environment.

Great atmosphere, hospital quality food. While the views were great, the food wasn’t (with exception for the soup). The hummus wrap and hamburger weren’t the post hike pick-me-ups we had hoped for. Our sweet waiter also had forgotten to put in our order so we waited for a long time. She apologized and gave us a discount for the error. No foul to her, things happen and I know she was busy. But after waiting even longer and very hungry from a long hike, the food was such a bummer.

I have eaten at a lot of national parks, and I thought the Lodge restaurant here was above average. I got chili, and a side salad with grilled chicken. The chili was tasty, with just a tiny bit of kick, and the salad was really good. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. My server was also friendly and very efficient. And honestly, you could feed me almost anything with that amazing view, and I would love it. So the fact that the food was pretty good was a bonus.

I was here for 3 days I ate dinner everyday. Twice I got the chicken sandwich and I got the burger once. Both are great and taste really good. Here’s the thing though. The chicken sandwich as a greater overall value to it. The one I got during a Thursday night came with avocado, cheese and bacon at no extra cost, which was 13$. The burger doesn’t come with those ingredients, but you have to add them at extra cost as seen in the photo. Now I don’t know why that is, that’s just the way they have it. The burger is 13$, adding bacon and cheese brought it up to 18$. So that’s why I say the chicken sandwiches have greater value for the price you pay.

Restaurant opens for dinner at 4:30. We had to wait for a little bit. Views of the mountains are very nice. We had the barbecue plate with sausage and pulled pork plus the bacon wrapped fillet mignon with mashed potatoes and veggies. Sopapillas with ice cream for dessert. Everything tasted good and the service was fast and server was very nice.

Stopped in for an early dinner right at their dinner start time. Seated right away and server was attentive. I had the burger and cup of chili to start. I also had their Window cocktail.

The drink was delicious and just what I needed after a day of exploring. The chili was flavorful. The “just a burger” was exactly that and tasted pre-made. The veggies on it were fresh but the patty was lacking. I would not get it again.

The view is what you are going for and did not disappoint. Note that at certain times you may have the sun directly on you and they did not lower any shades – which was fine for me but just know that going in.

Reasonably priced, I would definitely go back but try a different entree.
