New England Grinders
Excellent place for a grinder. I had the Italian without the pepperoni, and it was delicious—fresh ingredients, great flavor, and everything made just right. What really stood out, though, was the staff. From the moment I walked in, they were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely appreciative of the business. They took the time to make sure my order was exactly how I wanted it and handled everything with a positive attitude and efficiency. You can tell they care about both the food they’re serving and the customers they’re serving it to. Great atmosphere, great service, and a place I’ll gladly return to.

Not from the area but we were helping my wonderful girlfriend’s dad move out of his house. We hadn’t ate all day and were craving some sandwiches, I was about ready to make the 5 minute drive to Jersey Mike’s and then it happened, Ashlee sees New England Grinders on her phone and we were sold (Sorry Mike). So we set off on the 20 minute journey.
The Fat Bastard, lawddd. Did all those meats work together? Yes! Was it necessary? Also yes!
Balls Deep you ask? Slap yo mama good the spicy cheddar soup to accompany it…. Divine.
I don’t know what they’re doing when they come up with these creations, but I want to join them!
The potato salad was great, could’ve ate 2 orders.
The tortellini salad gave a nice tang to break up the palate. Could have maybe used a little green pepper or onion (ill add next time) for a crunch, but good nonetheless.
Will definitely be back in the future!
Also their Facebook is hilarious, need more.

The Balboa?! Just do it. It’s a combo sandwich of their Philly and Italian and it is DELICIOUS. We came here about a year ago and loved and it and somehow forgot about this place but we won’t forget again! Love the sort of “whole in the wall” vibe that makes you feel like found gold. The same who took our order a year ago took our order today and she was so friendly and remembered us which blew my mind. But also we remembered her! Her kindness and energy really makes a great first impression on the place. They answered our questions and made great suggestions, giving us all the detail we needed. If you’re a sandwich lover and you haven’t tried this place you’ve got to get in here.

I’ll tell you what anybody on here that says there sandwiches are generous portions are full of crap. This is nowhere near a New England grinder. A New England Grinder has an inch or 2 thickness of meat. This guy has no clue of what a New England grinder is. For the price of his sandwiches, I could have went and got a double portion of meat from Subway. I bought 2 sandwiches. One was a Philly, and they don’t even cook the meat. It’s already precooked and put on the bread and ran through an oven. No, flat top. I will not be a repeat customer. The picture I added is not from here. It’s what it should look like. If he wants to represent New England.

Hear ye, hear ye! I bring tidings from a most glorious establishment known as New England Grinders.
The J’s Big Beef is a feast so mighty that a man would drive many hours upon rutted roads and through foul weather to taste it once more.
And the Dan’s BBC–by my oath–this is a sandwich I would travel the lands for. The meat they serve is without equal, as though forged by the gods themselves.
The bread… gods be good. Soft as a maiden’s pillow, yet firm enough to bear the weight of greatness. One bite, and a tear doth threaten to fall.
This place rendereth all other sandwich houses non-existent. There is no cause to visit Jersey Mike’s, nor Jimmy John’s. Their banners may fly, but their thrones are empty.
By my palate, this feast earneth a perfect score.
10 out of 10. No lies spoken.

A quaint diner with counter service, serving up delicious grinders with unique names. Seating is limited so prepare to get your food to go. The staff is super friendly and this is definitely a place you want to stop by for a grinder if you are in the area.

Hello, I work nearby and I enjoy getting New England Grinders a few times a week. I alternate between the subs, soups, and salads and have yet to have a meal that I didn’t like. I really enjoy their grinder aioli
Great food and service at a fair price!

The “just the tip” was delicious. Bread was perfect, sauce was delightful, and the dipping juice stuff was so good I almost drank what was left of it. Good service too.

My Philly was great! My wife and daughters Club….. not so much. Very little meat, probably got it from Tyson across the street, onions soup was different at first taste. Then the salt hits you on third and forth bit. A new challenge would be to chug a cup! Staff friendly. But I believe Grinders is more than just sandwiches, a little adult oriented theme.

I’m hesitant to write this review because I want this hidden gem to myself. I got the Balboa 10inch. Wow. Best sub I’ve ever had. I was wondering where the name came from because Rocky is my favorite movie. I get it now it’s a Philly cheesesteak wrapped in Italian meats. They put a lot of high quality meat and cheese on their subs. I was full with half the sub but couldn’t stop eating it so I finished it. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Place was busy and from order to leaving was 10 minutes or less. Great subs!
