Awesome food truck! I highly recommend the breakfast tacos! Chorizo with egg and flour or corn tortilla. Also the beef soft taco was delish! Can’t wait to go and eat at the restaurant! Some of the best Mex food I’ve had in a long time!

I don’t know if it’s because we’re in the country and there are farms everywhere, but that was the freshest restaurant food I’ve ever had in my life. It was delicious. I couldn’t even stop eating it!

This is a delicious Mexican restaurant. We live in Statesboro and happily make the drive out there! The staff is very attentive and make it a fun dining experience. We went with my whole family including a 4 year old and a baby. It was easy to accommodate all of us and everyone enjoyed their meal!

We keep coming back….great food – though we get something different every time! Tamale plate keeps being re ordered. Get the Queso Compuesta! Great for the whole table. Wonderful service – very kind and accommodating.

This is my second time eating at this restaurant and again it was awful. The first time I ordered the 2 taco salads with beef. The beef had no seasoning and the taco shell was as flat as a paper plate. However, I decided to give them a second chance since they were less than 1 mile from my house and I didn’t want to travel all the way to Statesboro. This time I tried the 4 crispy tacos and I ordered what I thought would be loaded nachos. Inside the tacos there was a teaspoons worth of beef and again the meat was bland and the lettuce and tomatoes were tossed around the plate as if someone had flipped the plate upside down. The nachos were made from what looked to be 2 cut up flour tortillas, toasted or fried on the grill, 1 tablespoon of beans and meat and a few sprigs of lettuce. I think Tierra Caliente needs to have their staff taste or eat the same food they serve the public. This may help or it may not, but I said all that to say this, ” I’m done wasting my money”! I’m only one person but if I’m ever asked, “how was the food”, I’m telling the truth.
