The New England clam chowder at Legal Sea Foods is hands-down the best I’ve ever had — a true taste of classic Boston perfection!
Served piping hot in that iconic blue-rimmed mug, this chowder is rich, creamy, and loaded with tender, plump clams and hearty potatoes in every spoonful. The flavor is spot-on: briny, comforting, with just the right touch of seasoning that makes you feel like you’re right on the New England coast. Paired with those crispy oyster crackers, it’s pure comfort in a bowl.
No wonder it’s been served at presidential inaugurations — this is the gold standard for clam chowder. If you’re anywhere near a Legal Sea Foods, do yourself a favor and order a bowl (or two). You won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend — 5 stars all the way.

Lobster Roll is consistently excellent at the various branches of Legal Sea Food I have visited – this was no exception. Speedy, attentive and friendly service – wide choice of menu (particularly for an airport restaurant). My colleague, who is not a seafood fan, enjoyed her chicken and bacon burger. Good wine selection by the glass. Ambience is not as good as their restaurants in town but its in an airport terminal so this is to be expected. Best food on offer at Logan Airport by a mile!

What do you do when you’re forced to be at the airport 3 hrs. before an overseas flight and also anxious? You eat and drink. We did a little of both. Our Legal server was a fun guy and cool. No rush. A Cabernet and a large Sam Adam’s, actually 2. The large cup of New England clam chowder was superb and so flavorful and creamy. Not from a base which many places use. Service is slow but worth it.

You cannot go wrong with Legal Sea Foods especially with the calamari and the crab cake.
This time I tried the Woonsocket Calamari, it comes with spicy peppers, the calamari was fried to perfection also very delicious.
The staff was Uber friendly and the atmosphere was great too.
The ambience is very nice for an airport restaurant.

Wow I was surprised how delicious was food here. We had house dald and it was the best salad with dressing made in house I’ve had in very long time. Also we had salmon cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious too. A must try if you are in terminal E.

I’m a fish and chips snob. No, really. You see this pic? The fish is glossy and almost translucent. It’s been out of the cooker for 20 minutes and still hot and moist. Perfect. Very hot fries, too . While the food was fairly well prepared and the prices and portions were as I would have expected of most overpriced airport restaurants…the service was AWFUL. As a young solo traveler, I was repeatedly ignored and brushed off by my server as I watched him give very good service to the other tables around me. Several tables with older patrons or couples/families received a positive attitude and kind service via recommendations, patience, and attentiveness from the server. Meanwhile I waited upwards of 15 minutes just to be acknowledged by my server. When I ordered a second portion of the clam chowder, I watched him go around several other tables before ringing in my order. Then I had to ask for the check twice while other tables who asked after me were paid attention to first.
I never ever leave reviews but was so frustrated by the time I finished my meal and paid that this felt necessary. This felt targeted perhaps at me being a young female travelling alone, but maybe the service is always bad.

Very bad experience, very long wait for meals, and no active water supply during the process. Omelet tastes terrible, the skin is overcooked and too thin, and the seasoning is uneven. The small potatoes served with the meal were shriveled and lacklustre, the bread was just passable, and the jam was too bad

Incredibly bad service at a time that was not busy and many servers were present. I was lucky to have several HOURS before my flight but took over an hour to get food at all. Do not go here if you are short on time or even wanting to catch a flight in the next hour!
