They are so close to home so we wanted to like it….was out first visit…we got the all you can eat fish. We all 3 love clamb Chowder but it had no flavor….seemed to be missing the clamb? The cod had generous portions and ability to get all you wanted….the wife and daughter didn’t even eat all they got….maybe we just ordered the wrong thing as a first experience? The fish just had no seasoning and tasted like nothing We were torn between trying them and going to our favorite China place. Picked Brenda’s because it was so close, should have drove the extra 20 min….we looked at the menu and was thinking it could be a regular spot with lots of options while we were waiting for our dinner…even thought we could use them for take out…kinda changed our minds as soon as the soup came….still had some hope but fish was even more bland…the all you can eat was a waste because we didnt eat what we had….disappointed

We went for dinner. I had the broasted chicken and my wife had the jalapeno burger. Both were excellent! The server was amazing. She showed us another couples country skillet and country fried steak that looked delicious. She even brought us a sample of their freshly made chicken noodle soup, which was as hood as any I’ve ever had. I could imagine it being perfect if I had a cold, or as a side with a meal. She also recommended the deep fried mushrooms, which we really liked. She told us the were fresh mushrooms, battered just before being deep fried. Finally, we took home a couple pieces of cherry pie and half of both our meals for a second meal the next day and a sweet dessert. We highly recommend Brendas, and are planning to go for breakfast this morning. We were so impressed with the bubbly, kind and perfect service that we left a $20 tip. Well worth the experience! Give them a try if your looking for a cozy homey place to relax and enjoy a meal. This is the longest review I have ever left, and I try to be impartial. It’s well worth the short drive to Lewis and Samaria roads. Enjoy!

This is a great spot for cheap, great
tasting food. While I have yet to try the lunch and dinner menu, their breakfast menu, for the price, is unmatched. A great local place with better prices than waffle house or american table and I, personally, enjoy the taste more. My meal cost me only 10 dollars flat.

We came here for breakfast, our waitress was very busy but made sure we were taken care of. The biscuits & gravy were great and their diner coffee was probably one of the best I’ve ever had! We will be back to try thier broasted chicken!

We have always had good meal here, my sixth visit I would guess. Delicious country Benedict in the middle of nowhere. Hard to find these hustle n bustle days. Chefs Cooking with passion and skill and the wait staff are always happy to make sure guests are happy!

200% worth the drive. Brenda’s is a farmer’s Darner with economical prices with large servings. Even their big potato is a huge and massive serving two full grown men can eat and feel satisfied. But my favorite is the grinder whether you get the Italian the chicken club or any of the others you will have an absolute treat. But if you do not save room for dessert you’re doing yourself a disservice there cheesecake is to murder for!!!!

Brenda’s is comfortable homestyle dining experience. It has a menu with lots of offerings. I have been there twice and have enjoyed both my selections. The last time I got a vegetable grinder that was just delicious! The server was very attentive to our group of 10. I will definitely be going again.
