I started eating before I took the pictures. I want to give an honest review. Food is delicious wish they had wait staff. But maybe they have it during dinner hours. Pork tamales was delicious. The enchiladas so much flavor going on and Carne Asada tacos delicious and had so much meat in them. This will be the stop every time I have to come to Shreveport.

They are pricey for no reason and the food is trash. That is not Mexican food. The owner should be ashamed that the staff has poor customer service. To only bring out one plate of food to a table that had 5 orders and bring all other plates out 30 mins later is not at all ok. It is very clear they don’t care about presentation nor care about retention. This establishment is not designed for a family oriented environment they are rude and lack professionalism.

Awesome authentic Mexican food and great service. I’ve now been to both locations and was very impressed with both visits. You definitely have to try the tacos!

Best Mexican tacos in Shreveport. Steak and tongue (try it if you haven’t, think of the most tender beef you’ve had) are my go-to tacos. The burrito wasn’t my favorite but the nachos were good.

This is not a Tex-Mex place (I do like those places too), so don’t expect it when you come in.

Barbacoa Tacos Amazing. Chili was delicious, Chili was hot but not to hot, it made you want more. Tortillas were delicious.
Coffee is instant and costs $3.25. Chorizo and egg taco was not hot.

I would still eat here again because the positives made up for the negatives but no coffee next time if I have to make it myself.

First of all, their food is delicious. I recommend their al pastor tacos with pineapples on top! It’s an interesting combination. I also love their nachos & chips and salsa. The tamales is a must try as well, since I like the way they steam it with a banana leaf. I never get disappointed when I come here with my boyfriend because of great customer service and food !

I went here with high hopes but left with dashed hopes and a hole in my wallet.

This place has been on my list of places to try for a couple of years. I always get street tacos at these places but decided to try a burrito that my daughter had tried at a similar place. I mean…how could I go wrong with an Al Pastor Burrito right? And of course I had to have chips & salsa.

When the cashier gave me my total, I almost choked. OVER TWENTY DOLLARS??? Are you kidding me? I don’t mind paying for good food but sheesh!

The chips & 2 salsas were delivered to me quickly and I have to say, “They were the best I’ve had in this area!” The green Verde and the red were both excellent. The red was very different from what typical Mexican joints serve. Kudos on those but…then the burrito came.

I took a bite and all I tasted was refried beans. I figured I would hit the meat spot at some point but that never came. Bite after begrudging bite of bland refried beans filling my taste buds. If there were two scraps of meat in this thing I’d be surprised. I mean Taco Bell can do better than this! It was a giant squishy bean burrito. No flavor. No Al Pastor. It was disappointing to say the least.

So maybe you don’t order burritos at a place that claims to have the best tacos in town. Go figure.

I would definitely go back for the chips & salsa and I might just have to try a taco because the burrito was terrible.
