I’ve been coming for years, and this is my faithful source for an amazing cup of coffee. Seriously, their drip is why you should love a cup of pure black coffee. It’s flavorful—think bright, sunny, notes of tropical fruit. It’s balanced, never bitter. The staff are so kind! Extra credit for the business promoting social care that aligns with my morals. If you visit Detroit, come here and try a cup of black coffee just to see how beautiful coffee can be all on its own. Support local!

Great little coffee shop. Love the facility tucked in among the old businesses. Says they’re moving. Too bad because it really is an eclectic little space. Very friendly staff. Good parking. Easy in and out. Good prices for a good drink.

Went here for an event in the back area. Very nice set up. I went in and tried an iced tea with sweet cinnamon and toasted coconut syrup. It was very good. Definitely recommend if in area. It’s super cute inside and out too. They have bees housed outside in the front, a cute mural painted on the side, a cool lounge area with a hammock on the side and seating around the side and back of the building with wildflowers and such. Lights strung about that lights up the area and give a great ambiance at night. Very cool vibe. Nice hang out joint.

What a beautiful, cozy, and warm coffee shop! Not only professional sweet service, but DELICIOUS coffee & CROISSANT to die for too! Staff greeted me with a smile once I walked in, asked how am I doing, then directly it felt like home. A place to chill, relax, enjoy coffee and company and you dont think of any problems. Highly recommended. Thank you for a great experience!

Adorable coffee shop with luscious lattes and lots of interesting event and community flyers. Their coffee deserves 4.5 stars, and their support of indie makers deserves 5. Occasionally the service is a bit slow, and parking can be complicated or just hard to land.

The only negatives: I wish they had more seating (literally impossible, they have used as much of the building space as they can, this is just my pipe dream of wanting more, lol), and I wish there were more “””regular””” easy food choices – I’m a really picky eater and it’s tough to find options that AREN’T touting some kind of dietary restriction convenience… it’s great that this exists and I am happy about it!! But also, it’s so hard to go there and have a regular ol’ croissant – most of the time they’re sold out of those, and everything else has like. Spices on it. Where is a simple, cheap choco chip cookie when you need it…
Anyway, service is fantastic, 10 out of 10 stars, I’m platonically in love with all of the baristas and everybody else who helps out in the building – I’ve been dragging my partners here for years at this point ?!? and I still don’t know anybody’s names, and at this point I’m too afraid to ask but we’ve allllmost made it to the part where the baristas occasionally remember our milk preferences thank you, guys!!
This location has a single-stall restroom (with lots of fun decor!), has a wheelchair ramp inside the building for ease-of-access to the main floor, has a second story for more ‘comfortable’ living room-esque seating, and this building frequently hosts weekend and weekday group get-togethers for local artists and stuff like that. A real eclectic coffee shop – the vibes are immaculate. There’s art for sale by local creators, and there’s always advertisements for the next fun thing to do on one of the boards. The baristas are friendly, seem to all like working together (almost no turn-over?!? amazing), and every visit is a delicious cup of coffee.

Cute little coffee shop just off the beaten path. Fun interior with a couple of local vendors selling their wares. Latte was amazing although they didn’t have a skim milk option (I got oat milk instead). Delicious pastries! I had the pumpkin tart which tasted exactly like a pumpkin pie. A little cramped (they were busy) but plenty of space to ‘post up’ upstairs.

I just swung by to grab a latte this morning. There were about 5 people ahead of me so it took 10-15 minutes to get my latte. Understandable, they were pretty busy. They are to-go only! The barista was very friendly when she told me and while taking my order! I ordered an iced toasted coconut oatmilk latte which was very smooth and delicious! Definitely haven’t tried this flavor before but I loved it and can’t wait to get it again. The atmosphere is suitable for about 20-30 people and it’s a nice little spot to catch up with a friend over a coffee, plenty of greenery and it’s modernized. I’m stopping back in for sure!

The cutest Ferndale establishment!! Also the coffee is fantastic. The staff is so friendly. Good vibes all around. No blasting music, perfect ambiance for cozy vibes or getting some work done. They have an outdoor area with hammocks and tables.
