We ordered take out and I waited in the car while it was picked up so I can’t talk about the outside. I think it’s Asian run not sure?
They serve countless amounts of seafood and soul food. I order the catfish platter with Mac n cheese and collards, crab cakes on the side and then my girlfriend got a wing platter also with Mac and collards. I loved the collards and the Mac n cheese, the catfish was a no from me but I’m picky with it. I loved the crab cakes though and my girlfriend loved the wings. Overall we’d order takeout again.

This was my third time there and the food was at its worst. I ordered chicken skewers and also shrimp skewers. The chicken was so overcooked that it tastes like chicken jerky and I felt as if I was going to throw up all night. The shrimp skewers was so overdone that I tasted one and threw the whole thing in the trash along with The chicken skewers I won’t be going back because I threw my money in the trash along with the food that had that made me sick.

The seafood is really good. I give it 4 stars because a couple times the food was a miss (bland food and the corn was very soft and nasty). Most times the food is slammin’. The atmosphere is not really my favorite so I usually do take out. When you’re in the mood for a loud somewhat ratchet time then the music and atmosphere here is great at night. Much more relaxed vibe during the day.

Stopped in for sister/ friend birthday. The food was horrible, the music was bad, hardly anyone there, people were friendly and bar tender seemed nice. Maybe just an off night, it was monday!!!!!lol.

Had a Dungeness platter. They put entirely too much Old Bay! Frozen corn on the cob. Imitation butter. And the crab was still dry. For $33. Never again. What does it take to get an edible seafood platter in this city?! Technically this dive bar is Darby but it’s across the street from Southwest Philly.

Nice “hood” spot, been around since I was a kid and probably before. The fried food is good and the people are chill. The food is so good it’s basically a Chinese seafood/fried place inside the bar. Drinks were good too. SW/WP native so I’ll be coming here all the time lol. Wish they had a HH, if they do I wish they promote it.
