The broth is on the herbal side. It’s a different pho broth profile; not bad.
English communication is a hit n miss but message delivered.
All in all, I would come back for another bowl of pho without too much expectation.
I felt the price is high for pho and its locations. But seem like everywhere you go nowadays the price is between $15-20 for pho! Which is insane! Noodle, water, and a few pieces of meat for that price tag are a bit ridiculous. I stop going out to eat pho the past year due to the price tag.
If you are craving pho and don’t mind paying that price tag then this place is a good option!
The food has always been consistent, delicious, and the meat is very tender and good.
I usually get the bun thit nuong, which is the best thing there. Very good and well worth the price. Speaking of prices, the place has rised the price quite a bit. It’s pretty steep now, but still very good. Just not as great as a deal as the bun thit nuong was once $9.99, a freaking steal!
I got the pad thai. It was pretty good, the lime added a kick to it. A bit on the blander end, and isn’t really spicy despite me getting a four but solid. I would get the five next time for more flavor and spice.
My mom said the bun thit nuong was fire, she wasn’t wrong. It was, indeed, fire.
Would recommend if you wish to have some decent Vietnamese food in Renton. It’s hard to beat and the location is lovely. The service is decent, and is relatively clean. In terms of boba, I only got their thai tea but the strawberry milk tea is 100% a never again for me. Would totally come again, just as I have for the past 10 years.
Fortune Noodle House is a bit cheaper but lower in quality as compared to this place.
The place was clean and the folks were welcoming and polite. The food was tasty and super inexpensive. The ginger dressing salad that came as an unexpected side for the bamboo shoot soup was the highlight. The bhanmi sandwich was great and filling and unbelievably priced at just 4.99. I wish this restaurant was near my office in Seattle so I can have this as lunch frequently.
Never thought I would happen to see a fully vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant and I’m happy I did. The place should have had a lot more customers on a Saturday afternoon. An underrated gem in Renton.
