This was so amazing! I got the build your own bowl with chicken and all the toppings. My husband had the gyro. We ordered the meat pies and falafel for appetizers. Even though they were short staffed, the wait wasn’t long at all and the service was exceptional! The flavors were so good in everything!

We stopped by Fredericksburg for the night and found Aladin for dinner! We were there on a Monday (around the holidays) and the parking lot was pretty busy, which was a good sign. We were immediately seated and though we got there after happy hour, the general menu seemed really well-priced and diverse in its choices. I got the chicken kabob sandwich and others got the chicken kabob platter, and the Aladin burger. The meat was well-flavored and the sandwich was filling enough, though I’d recommend getting a side. All the food took quite some time, but the staff mentioned that the kitchen was swamped, which provided us some context. It’s a good place for families with lots of booths and options— just get an appetizer so you have something to munch on!

TL;DR: A confusing, slow lunch with inconsistent pricing and food that didn’t feel worth the cost. Not terrible, but disappointing for a $50 meal for two.

I stopped into Aladdin Mediterranean Kitchen expecting a quick, casual lunch, but the experience ended up being slower and more expensive than anticipated.

The staff seemed a bit unsure, especially around pricing. The prices were misstated when we ordered, and when I mentioned the difference at checkout, I was told “oh, the prices must have changed.” It wasn’t a huge confrontation, but an apology or clarification would’ve gone a long way.
What we expected to be a fast stop took around 20 minutes, which again isn’t outrageous, just unexpected for the type of meal.

I ordered the kafta kabob, and the presentation was very minimal: a single kabob with one mushroom, a few grape tomatoes, a slice of pepper, and a quarter of an onion. The onion was mostly raw and pretty overpowering, which lingered after the meal. It didn’t look very intentional or appetizing.

I also tried the spicy hummus. The flavor was good, but it was a bit over-salted, which took away from it.

My partner ordered a panini, which was fine nothing bad about it, just fairly forgettable.
The biggest issue was value. The total came to about $50 for lunch for two, and for that price, the food and experience didn’t really match expectations.

Overall, it wasn’t an awful meal, but between the pricing confusion, service, and underwhelming presentation, it’s hard to see myself going back when there are other Mediterranean spots that offer more for the money.

I was in Fredericksburg on a business trip, tired and looking for some good Mediterranean food. Aladin was close to my hotel, so I stopped in and ordered the Mediterranean Salad and a Gyro Platter. Both dishes were excellent—fresh, flavorful, and served in very generous portions. In fact, the salad was so big I couldn’t finish it and ended up saving it for lunch the next day. The gyro was especially tasty, packed with flavor and cooked just right. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m in town again.

The food is always excellent. I honestly was too hungry, I forgot the pics. But I have eaten here several times and it never disappoints. Their lamb is out of this world, fresh, moist, super tasty. The gyro is one of the best in the area and the rice pudding is like my mom made it. Absolutely delicious. Would I return? Most definitely and if you cant come in, you can order take out or they deliver.

Well it’s our first time at ‘Aladin Mediterranean Restaurant’, destined after we left the Fredericksburg convention center and some random exploration. We decided to drive around downtown and parked.
Our adventure started by visiting several stores. The streets are very nice, mixed with cool spots to explore, new cuisines, history and culture.
Then we concluded or day at Aladin restaurant, picked after a little research online.

For a Saturday night after 20:00 it was pretty nice and quiet. We were greeted by a pleasant hostess, and our waiter Gary was very friendly and patiently explained our menu options.

Husband and I ordered the same dishes, the ‘Lamb Kabob plate’, where mine had french fries and vegetables. Husband had his lamb with double order of steamed veggies.

The food was really good. The lamb was marinated, skewered and grilled ~ cooked perfectly. The vegetables tasted fresh, too. For drinks we shared a Samuel Adams draft beer.

Overall it was a great experience. I really liked the taste of the green sauce to dip the lamb in. I don’t eat ketchup or mayonnaise. I poured sauce on almost everything.
It’s worth it to try out this restaurant if you’re in Fredericksburg!

This is my second time dining here and it was even better this time. The spicy Hummus is amazing, the pitas come out toasty warm and yummy. This time I did the “build your own bowl”. I had chicken, spicy garlic sauce, rice, veggies, and spicy garlic Hummus. It was really good, and there was enough for three meals. The servers are all very nice and the restaurant is clean.

This is my favorite Mediterranean restaurant to get chicken souvlaki at, the white sauce and rice are so delicious. The staff are always really nice and I like the photos they have of different locales on the walls.

I came here and it was impeccable! The waitress was extremely kind and helpful, not to mention the owner was so kind! I ordered the chicken shawarma and the chicken was flavorful, juicy, the fries weren’t dry, and the pickles tasted amazing. I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone to wants a true taste of mediterranean food.
