I had chicken fried steak and that gravy was so flavorful! We also had the Tilly eggs Benedict (my sis said it was the best eggs Benedict she’s ever had.) and the Tilly Fries were collectively voted best thing at our table. If we are in town again will make it a point to come back. The waitress was a very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.

The apps are on point! Came here to grab a couple of beers and some apps on a Saturday night. Plenty of parking and seating. Despite being fairly crowded, the staff was gracious and the food came out quickly and was piping hot. Got the fried pickles and onion rings. They were the best examples of both that I’ve had in a while! Will be back!

I’ve been here twice so far. Both times the service and food were spot on. The booths are comfortable, the classic sports bar atmosphere is cozy and quiet. Went on a Tuesday afternoon when we were one of 3 tables being served and got excellent spot-on friendly service. We received the same on a packed Saturday night where we got one of the last available tables. Even with all the noise, busyness and chaos, we received service with a smile. Every question was answered and the food was cook exactly to order. If you are looking for good’ole burgers and buffalo wings I definitely recommend giving this place a go.

Hello, to fellow patrons and owners of this bar/grill I would like to address issues we had while visiting Tilly Jane’s. On Sunday we were there to watch a Packers game and we’re highly disappointed in the service. As a person that strives for quality in kindness, respect and fairness I would like to address how I don’t feel that was given by a single person at the establishment besides the cooks for obvious reasons. Our services was the worst I’ve ever had by an entire staff in my life. Our server tried after something was said but with little to no facility support there was not much she could do. From the start of our group being served the wait time to simply getting asked for a drink was horrible. My group has all been in the service industry from grandfather to grand children and great uncles (we’re understanding of people in service). For that matter to set the record straight, we were not the problem. Our server was not the problem, the management was the problem. Also other issues that arose were the attitude and all out rudeness of other staff as well as anyone we asked for help. Specifically bartenders behind the bar. Our server was over booked for anyone’s capabilities of that being physically capable of completing a task for anyone. As patrons we saw this issue and addressed it with multiple staff. After asking other staff for help we were turned away and told that that is not there job to take care of and that, it was our servers. Given she had to make our drinks and serve other tables. In my experience in service and patronizing a place the management steps in at that time. At no point did that ever happen. I believe the class of a person determines the outcome of an experience in most situations and that fell short of anything civilized and intelligent, especially coming from two specific bartenders behind the bar. As an owner of this establishment I cannot see how this can be acceptable behavior to set forth the perception of the quality and care a person or establishment provides and is a horrible reflection of that person as well. Although that may not be the case it was definitely perceived that way. The only reason I’m even writing this is because the food. It was quality and appreciated. Therefor with a menu that is tasteful it’s a shame nothing else was as well. The bathrooms were what you would expect at a public park. The service sucked and the class of the service was relatable to people with behavioral disorders. I would like to say go here for the food but I can’t even suggest that. There was no compensation for a thing no one came and apologized and the manager if there was one couldn’t show they had the ability to do the job. There are so many wonderful places to eat in this area. You won’t be disappointed in going to a different spot. Also to our server you were kind and that kindness went a long way. As a fellow human being I/we understand it’s hard to be collected when everyone around you is not. Best of luck to you and I hope you can find another job that isn’t as toxic as the one you have. Also to her boss she deserves her job, she kept class and she never once made this place look bad or talked smack about the place. (I say that because in my experience other staff like to point fingers when they were the actual problem.)

We were here five years ago, on opening day. It was very chaotic, and we were not impressed. We tried it again a few months later, and it was a little better, but nothing exceptional. We had kinda decided not to come back. I knew that they were under new ownership, and the reviews were very positive. Since it is their five year anniversary from the original opening, we decided to give it another try. The food was wonderful. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door, and the service and hospitality were exceptional. We will definitely be back more often.

Local favorite. Staff is always super friendly and delightful. I order the same thing every time, wings, Cesar, and fried pickles.

My family loves Tilly Janes! Everytime we come to Hood River we make a point to stop in at Tillys for dinner! Last night I took my son and his friend after a baseball game and the staff went above and beyond for us! One of my boys really needed to charge his phone so he could stay in contact with his dad, our lovely server and the chef found a charger for us and saved the day! Even though it was very busy the service was great! And the FOOD! Please tell the chef that was working the night of 5/21 that he fries some mean chicken and grills a perfect burger!
