The menu consists of many breakfast items and some lunch items too. The prices were also very reasonable so this was an added bonus.
Our server was attentive and friendly as were all the staff we encountered.
We went in the early afternoon on a Saturday and there was plenty of seating available.
If you love breakfast this is your spot! And on the weekends they are open later so you can get breakfast for dinner too!
They also serve alcohol so it could be a hair of the dog type morning for you , a cheerful lunch drink or have a few drinks in the evening with breakfast
If you decide to still go here, expect to shell out – $50 for breakfast for two. Drip coffee alone is almost $4.50, and no, it wasn’t chemex.
Pancakes were dense and light on the pumpkin. Potatoes deceivingly looked crispy and RIP to the English muffin disc.
The service was attentive, the interior had cafeteria diner vibes. Seemed like cash only, but they DO accept cards. Advertised in a lot of different places that they have an atm inside.
I look for places I’m going to like. This one surpasses expectations in appeal, presentation, menu, flavors, freshness, and most importantly kind people.
The kitchen staff creates a fun flavorful and colorful menu with seasonal themes. But you can come here for a simple egg sandwich, too.
There’s a bar! It’s like a diner inside a restaurant with a dinner and drink menu later in the day.
This place is awesome! You can have breakfast and watch the Patriots highlights.
Kelly’s Place is really convenient locally and off 495. There are electric car charging stations in the lot, and tons of other parking on site.
Come to Kelly’s Place. Try the skillets.
I wasn’t planning on going here, but I was driving by, and it looked like a fun place to go and eat.
The service was a little slow, but not too bad.
I would definitely come back
Today, I decided to try their lunch on my way home. Since the closure of another location, I feel like they have transitioned to a diner. The Reuben is delicious. I wish it could be a little bit tender. I guess adding melted cheese slightly overcooked the sandwich. I highly recommend Kelly’s place and will come back again.
By the way, due to the economic situation, expect service charge if swiping credit card.
PS
food has gone downhill overall.
As often happens with successful restaurants, this place became complacent and lazy. My rating had been updated to two stars.
Main reason for the lowered rating are service (or lack there of from the ‘server’) as well as cleanliness. We killed several flies while sitting at our tables that were quickly replaced by new batch of flies.
Our server showed up to our table 2 times, once to take the order for drinks and food (this took 15 minutes after we sat down) and another time to ask me if I wanted more coffee half way through the meal. She never came back with that coffee. The food was delivered by a bus boy and I had to get the check myself to the older lady that seemed to be in charge. Where was my waiter you ask? She was texting in the waiter station and talking to other waiters. Granted, this experience could be limited to the waitress with pink hair, but this is the second visit in a row with subpar service. I gave another chance since we were in the area. I deeply regretted this decision as I really wanted coffee – my cup was dry after less than 5 minutes and stayed dry for the rest of our breakfast.
The food wasn’t bad, my lox skillet was pretty good and my daughters french toast was decent. However, bacon was hard, yet somehow not crispy. Pretty sure chef Mike made it (microwave).
Anyway, between a waitress that spends her time texting and chatting instead of checking on her tables and flies I recommend you get your breakfast elsewhere.
This place is out of chances with this Google Guide.
Original Review:
Location: easy to get to. Parking can be tough if you go during busy hours as the lot is insufficient for the business.
Menu: great choices on the menu. Good presentation of food and quality of ingredients is well above average.
Customer service: pretty good (based on one visit). They were accommodating and came by to refill the coffee fairly regularly. Everyone was busy and they kept things moving.
Price: based on quality of our food, the price is very good!
Overall: My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, we will return again to try more things as we were very happy with everything we tried so far.
Final Grade: A+
