let me start off by saying the bartenders are good, but the food though? has gone so down hill. we used to come here all the time. now the burger patties look like frozen bulk pieces from costco. we’ll go to madden’s next time for a burger. the $20 steak bites are a joke. maybe 3oz? we won’t be back.

Visited on a Sunday, which was understandably a quieter time, but even with low foot traffic, the presence of gnats throughout the bar was hard to ignore, especially around the drinks and bar top. It raises some concern about cleanliness and upkeep.
Another nearby restaurant/bar under the same ownership has already closed.
That said, the staff was friendly and courteous, but the overall visit felt a bit impartial and forgettable. With a little more attention to cleanliness and atmosphere, this place could improve its guest experience significantly.

Didn’t care for the food. I tried the turkey Reuben on rye It was heavy and oily, some sort of shredded turkey very salty, real turkey would be an improvement. The Walnut cranberry salad with grilled chicken seems like mostly iceberg lettuce very few vegetables in this salad, some mandarin oranges cucumber and some other veggies might make it healthy. I’m hoping maybe I will like their chili.

I was going once a week but the last few times have not been a good experience. The bartenders will watch you walk in, sit down and take 10 minutes to ask for your order. You rarely get a smile from anyone and this last time which was February 12th they were mopping the floor using bleach while customers were trying to enjoy their beverage. I’m allergic to bleach.

Only ate here once before a few months ago and it was excellent; not sure what happened this time. My fiancé and I decided to come for a New Year’s dinner & from the second we sat down we noticed gnats flying around in our faces. Mind you, it’s WINTER and freezing cold outside. Not sure how you have gnats. It was a pretty slow night, very few people in the restaurant. The service we received awful. The waitress was not very friendly and everything took forever. Sat and waited probably a half hour or more for our food. I ordered a taco salad and it literally disgusted me so bad I felt like I lost my appetite but I was starving and didn’t feel like sitting and waiting for more food so I forced myself to eat it. It was freezing cold (the beef was like an ice cube and the shell it came in was extremely stale a freezing cold as well). I informed the waitress and she said she would discount it. Got the bill and the only thing that was taken off was $3.75 for “cold beef”. I am incredibly dissatisfied and will not be returning here ever again. Should’ve went to Burger Barn like we were considering in the first place lol.

Good variety of options across the board. I was excited about the sweet potato puffs but unfortunately, they tasted weirdly sweet and overly processed. I had them once awhile back and loved them, but I eat baked sweet potatoes and fries often and know the natural flavor well. These aren’t it but I’m sure loads of people love them just the same. Sliders were alright, I like Hamlin Pubs way better! Also tried the spin artichoke dip, it tasted good but was cold in the middle still, with unmelted cheese under the somewhat melted top layer. It was hard to eat because the cheese was so thick and under melted. Again, something I had before and liked, maybe just an off day this time.

Stopped in for the first time for dinner on a Friday night. The spinach and Artichoke dip was great! I had the Mainstreeter burger, which was very good. Wish it had more horseradish sauce, maybe see about getting more on the side. The wife had the Tenderloin Tips with Pappardelle Pasta, also very good. Service was attentive and drink prices were reasonable. Will be back to try other dishes!

On Saturday my girlfriend and I came in for lunch, we sat at the bar took our bartender 5 minutes to ask us for our drinks…there maybe 7 people at the bar…when we finally got our drinks and ordered our food took a few to come out we got the chicken wraps the wraps weren’t done right the chicken was on one side of the wrap and it completely fell apart we were not asked once how our food was. We had to ask for other drinks again. And then to finish it off,my girlfriend and I both have been sick since we ate there have not been able to stop going to the bathroom on Sunday had upset stomachs, food was horrible. Probably will never go eat there again. And I have eaten there several times…our bartender didn’t even care about us or the people that came in and sat next to us but the 2 gentleman she knew at the bar got good service
