A truly wonderful place for a dinner on Saturday night. The reservation system was easy to use. Lisa was phenomenal to us and made us feel right at home. The dining area was packed but not noticeable enough that we couldn’t hear each other speak, making for a vibrant atmosphere. We were jealous of every dish that passed us by, but once we got ours we were both very, very happy. From appetizers, to salads, to entrees, to deserts, we enjoyed every bite. Wishing Carini’s a happy 30 years and we hope to be there again soon! Thank you for a wonderful night.

Amazing food, good drinks, lovely people, homey and comfortable environment. Absolutely loved dining in at Carini’s Southern Italian Restaurant. The bruschetta was delicious. Some grilled Sciortino’s bread with garlic, bruschetta tomato. We tried a few cocktails and the wine which was a perfect pairing with our dishes. While I could have done with some more of their delicious sauce, I loved their shrimp with broccolini over fettuccine noodles. Definitely would love to go back and try more of their menu.
Now for my standard comments. Location is clean and well kept. Comfortable seating throughout the restaurant. Easy street parking outside though unsure of other nearby parking options.

There are not enough good things I can say about this place. It was so good, it was a spiritual/sexual experience. The last time I remember enjoying a meal nearly this much was at The Pasta Tree. Even from the salad and bread, I was already in love. Choosing what I wanted on the menu was nearly impossible because of so many outstanding choices. They make their dressings and sauces in house. This place is the real deal. I had the chicken marsala and the chicken was so tender I barely needed the knife.
This food is so good, it must be enjoyed like a fine wine — slowly, savoring every bite. I’m big on pairing wine with my food, and enjoyed 2 different whites, one at the recommendation of my awesome server, Denise. Come, soak in some Sicily, and have your own spiritual experience. I will definitely be back.

Our daughter chose Carinis for her UWM grad party, and we were not disappointed!! The online reservation process was very easy to navigate, with email communication. Our server made her job look easy & effortless for a group of thirteen people. The group space was very attractive and looked out on the street. Everyone seemed to enjoy the amazing food. One person ordered the pizza; it looked truly scrumptious. The bit of dessert I had was out of this world. We will be back.

It’s been a while since my wife & I visited Carini’s. I’m having surgery in six days, and I wanted to have a good meal to remember while eating “hospital food”. Carini’s did not disappoint.
My wife had a Chardonnay while I had a hearty red wine from the Tuscany area, we enjoyed our choices. We started with muscles with bread & oil. They were severed in an outstanding marinara sauce.
For dinner, my wife had Veal Marsala over penne pasta, which she more than loved. For myself, I had the Half Rack of Lamb, medium rare which came with mashed potatoes with herbs. To say I enjoyed my dinner is an understatement. Passed on desert, just too full. We left with smiles on our face, and looking for another reason to go back. Already thinking of a new occasion, a the name of a day ending in d-a-y.

Family Matters
Excellent… From the easy of a reservation to the owner and chief stopping by to check on us… the experience was amazing. The bread I have not tasted since New York City.. oh my! I am in love. I cannot wait to eat my leftovers tomorrow and cannot wait to get back here. Worth the 1 hour and 20 minute drive.
