The best fish and chips on the island and much better priced. While it says take-out, there is inside seating and plenty of picnic benches waterside where you can watch the famous Fundy tides rise and fall.

Great quality fried clams and it’s so nice to sit outside at the picnic tables by the water. You get a lot and they are fried to perfection. Recommend as a must try in Alma!

I stop at Fundy Take-Out every time I travel through Alma. First recommended to me by a local, they have great food at the best price. Once again, the lobster roll and the fish did not disappoint! The crunch on the fish was amazing, and the lobster roll was plump and sweet. There is still room for improvement, as the fries are nothing special and the tartar sauce is from a package.

Proper roadside takeout with plenty of picnic tables and a lovely view over the Salmon River. Also patio seating and indoor seating when there’s inclement weather or the fog makes it a bit chilly.
Varied seafood and takeout menu with stars of the menu being seafood based, of course. Lobster roll platter and fried clam platter come highly recommended, though the lobster roll needed more toasting and less mayo – flavorful, and a stack of double fried French fries and coleslaw.
We make a beeline for this takeout every time we are at Fundy National park near mealtime.

Delicious!! Lobster roll was jam packed and flavourful, all very fresh. This was my first time trying fried clams and they didn’t disappoint! Fries were also really good. My husband and I had to share everything, the portions were very large. Will definitely come back on future trips to Alma.

Lobster roll lovers, look no further! The standards are very high at this take-out restaurant. We’ll be making a detour to get our clam and lobster fix every summer. Good price, good portion, fresh. Fries aren’t hand cut but I really can’t be bothered when the seafood is so excellent.

Great location for take out on the way to Fundy National Park. Fish was lightly battered and the lobster roll was great. They also have a good selection of ice cream.

Went to fundy national park over the long weekend and went to try the lobster roll. It did not disappoint us! The lobster roll had huge chunks of meat and had no celery in it which is a huge plus for me. Lightly seasoned with mayonnaise. Nice atmosphere and good customer service! The fries tasted like a store-bought bag of frozen fries so I wish it was a little more fresh but otherwise 10/10!

We had a small fish n’ chips and a plate of clams. Huge piece of fish, with the proper amount of English-style breading, cooked just right. Delicious. Fries from the freezer, but cooked nicely too. Clams (whole clams, not strips) were nicely breaded also and tasted fresh. I would go back.
