Went here for an anniversary dinner. No reservation on a Friday night but the place was not very busy and got seated immediately.
Service was very good. The food and drinks were hit and miss.
Paper plane drink special was very good. Ophelia was heavy in the Campari and not to my taste.
The stuffed halibut was excellent, though a slightly small portion. Substituted the polenta for the mash and was a good choice . Also ordered the Delmonico and here where they missed the mark. Requested rare and came out a little more done than requested. Additionally, seemed like the grill wasn’t hot enough, no real char to speak of.
Overall a good meal though

My boyfriend made a reservation last night for my birthday. We drove 40 mins which is not a problem. The moment we entered the restaurant someone yelled will be right there which is typical in a restaurant. There’s no host/hostesses, manager walked in back and forth, waitresses did not even say anything. They are not that busy by the way. After 10 mins of waiting , a white old couple came in , went straight thru the podium and greeted right away. In our surprised they even asked and sat them right away without even asking who came first. So finally we got their attention and they sat us on the corner without a light and you can’t even read the menu. My whole night was ruined and I told my boyfriend to leave. But he told me to stay and he just ordered for me. The food was horrible the steak was hard and that is their prime rib. Luckily the server was very nice and it won’t affect her tips with our horrible experienced. Sadly we not coming back.

My partner and I were visiting from Bellingham and stumbled upon Flat Iron Grill for brunch. We were lucky enough to have Mitch as our server who had great banter and delivered excellent service. We enjoyed chatting with him about whiskey, gin, the industry, and our love for condiments.
My partner got the pesto & scrambled egg croissant sandwich. He is a bit of a scrambled egg snob and said the eggs were scrambled perfectly. I was surprised, as normally he doesn’t like scrambled eggs when we are out. He loved his meal and ate the whole thing.
I got the Chivito and it was SO yummy. The steak was cooked perfectly, the chimichurri was a nice addition and my sunny side up egg was also cooked perfectly! I also am picky about eggs, I can’t stand when the bottom of a sunny side up egg is crispy, and this wasn’t at all!
Fries came with both our meals and they had crispy pieces of sage with fried garlic – they were extremely good! Hot tip – ask for the jalapeño aioli, that stuff is divine!
Decor is cool, the place has a great vibe! Amazing experience to end a really fun trip.

Such an amazing brunch! I don’t know why Issaquah doesn’t do brunch, but Flat Iron is the one spot that offers it all – artisan breakfast offerings paired with Brunchie cocktails. It’s the best!

This is a lovely place to get a great dinner. The calamari appetizer was fantastic, and the fish dinner I had was also excellent. You can expect to spend a fair bit per person, so be prepared for that, but if you’re looking for a great meal this is a good place to go. For the money I’d like to see bigger portions, but they’re definitely sufficient to fill you up.

First the Katy May cocktail was delicious! Our waitress was very nice and punctual. It was a sunday so it was not busy at 4pm for dinner. My partner had the duck and it was cooked to perfection! The grilled salmon was superb!! You actually could taste the grilled flavor in the salmon! The mashed potatoes were good as well as the fresh sauteed green beans!

Nothing wrong about this place. Food good, service was great. I didn’t come for the atmosphere. I can w a small group. Some in our party were getting a bit loose and our server was quite tolerant. I thank you. I don’t drink so I was cringing a couple times. I was happy to make sure She was well compensated as were others.

We sat ourselves at the Bar area. The Bartender was serving by himself. It was my girlfriend and I dining. He was a great server. When it started picking up he handled it very well. The place has very cozy and warm atmosphere. Food was excellent. We had the crab cakes, chorizo clams and the halibut stuffed with dungeness crab. So damn good. Will be back. Wish I got the bartenders name because he is awesome. He’s there on Thursday’s.

Must get the Fig Let’s! Those are my favorite have been coming here for a while. The stuff is incredibly friendly the food is delicious and the restaurant itself is very cute. The area it is in makes it the perfect spot for a little night out! Whenever I go in it’s never very busy which is only disappointing because of how good it is!!

Met friends here for lunch. It wasn’t to crowded when we arrived. Service was good and timely. We both opted for a bowl of Seafood Chowder. The chowder had a slight smokeyness which gave a unique flavor, with a fair amount of Seafood.
