Best pasta I’ve ever had — Penne e Capesante, with scallop seared to be crispy brown, hot pepper, herb and cold pressed olive oil, with light tomato sauce. Not a heavy dish, though generous portion. The taste is on the salty, spicy side (truly spicy!) We also ordered the Gnocchi Bolognese, which is also great. Comes with two kinds of complimentary bread.

I give Tuscany in Wheeling five stars!! We had a party of six for a birthday celebration. The menu at Tuscany is truly Northern Italian. The wait staff were very attentive and welcoming. Our food was served hot and correctly. We had the penne pasta with scallops, chicken parmigiana, chicken piccata, filet mignon with roasted potatoes and mushrooms. Each dish was fantastic. We also had a dessert of their warm Tuscan bread pudding with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream, As well as their white chocolate mousse cake. These were both excellent!

A lot of my problems were around the service and environment. I’m sure they’re under-staffed but the wait to put our order in was too long and getting our food took a while. The lighting in the restaurant was awkward. The food was cold.

Nice soft lighting. It was quiet enough to have a dinner conversation without yelling or saying, “what?” a hundred times. The Lasagnette al Forno was rich yet had dynamic flavors. Our server had a trainee but it was not obtrusive. The white chocolate mousse cake was a splurge worth the calories. I was going to give four stars because of limited encounter but, then I realized that with a glass of wine all for under $45 dollars it was a great dinner. The ONLY small thing that could have been improved on was that my coworker had to ask for a refill of water one time. That was truly not a bother as one server was in training. If not for living in AZ, there is no doubt I would come back

I have always wanted to stop by the beautiful restaurant at Milwaukee rd. Finally I got the right motivation, when my neighbor who is Italian recommended Tuscany for authentic Italian food. The ambiance and Italian charm could not be ignored. We tried Bruschetta, agnolotti and creme brûlée. Food was yummy and decent portion. They have lunch specials too.

We went pretty late at night so only ordered appetizers but I was thoroughly impressed! The service was great and very attentive. They have a large menu for both food and drinks, with something for everyone. The price point is on par with the quality of food. We will definitely be back to try more!

The food was excellent, but last night’s service wasn’t the usual we expect at Tuscany. They ran out of my husband’s selection and instead of asking immediately what else he’d like they tried to find one for him (?That’s what we were told?) which caused an even longer delay in getting the food. We were there over 2 hours before getting our mains, and they came out over a full hour after the appetizers, which did come in a timely manner) One dish came out with the protein but not the pasta, and upon mentioning missing pasta, a side of pasta was presented. No sauce, just the pasta(?!) I don’t understand how either my pasta- free plate or the naked pasta looked right to the server who took our order then served us, but… it happened! The pasta went back to be sauced. Had service not been slow already maybe this wouldn’t have been so bothersome. They did cover the cost of my hubby’s replacement dish, but offering dessert to the table would’ve been a nicer touch. I think they had an off night. We’ve been to this and the downtown location in the past and have enjoyed the top quality food and service. We plan to return to the area for an event next month, and maybe we’ll try again for the full 5 that we’ve come to expect.
