My family and I had the most wonderful time at this gem! Tiffany was our culinary attendant. Not only was the service top-notch, the food and its preparation was impeccable. I forget the managers name, but she left a lasting impression on us. This is the only Pearl that I’ll return to. Thanks you guys for a wonderful evening. Kudos Tiffany

Delicious meal and great service! Went here for a date night, and was so impressed with the food, ambiance and server. I got the chargrilled oysters to start and they were so good! For my entree I got the salmon and it’s one of the best salmon dishes I’ve had. Looking forward to returning to The Pearl!

This restaurant is OUTSTANDING! Hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in Boston in a while. First off, service was great. Every person was so nice and checked in often. We started with two of the house cocktails which were both beautiful and tasted great. We shared a lobster bisque which came with unreal croutons and had tons of lobster pieces in it, and was the perfect size to share for an app for two. I had the spaghettini for my entree & my BF got the seafood rice. Both had amazing flavor and were unlike anything I’ve tried. Such a unique twist on your classic seafood restaurants. I can’t wait to come back and try other things on the menu! And to top it all off I got this cute birthday card & a scoop of lemon sorbet which was so thoughtful!

The food and drinks were fantastic. Ambience is great, really fun vibe. Price is what you would expect from a higher-end restaurant but everything was delicious. Had the grilled oysters, stuffed salmon and lobster roll — I had never had a hot lobster roll before and the waitress recommended it and wow… really, really good.
Once the place filled up, however, the service got slooooowwwww. The wait staff appeared to be over-subscribed but the pace of the kitchen (it’s open, so you can see it) was really slow. If you’re coming before a Roadrunner show, get a reservation early. We sat down at 6 pm before an 8 pm show and just made it.
If they could figure out how to make their kitchen get food out faster, this would have been a 10/10.

My wife wanted a night out for her holiday gift so I made a reservation at the pearl, set up babysitting, ordered a Lyft so we could both have cocktails…and when we got there they were completely closed, doors locked and everything. Even after I confirmed the reservation. Luckily Rail Stop up the street could seat us so we could salvage the evening (and my wife loved their risotto with added lobster).
Any restaurant that does this isn’t worth trusting. Can’t recommend.

We arrived at 7pm and promptly ordered drinks and starters. Drinks came out, and we ordered dinner – excited by the offerings on the menu. This is a small menu with limited offerings. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 sandwiches, and a burger – hardly a complex order. No food arrived. No manager came over to apologize. At 8:30 (an hour and a half after we sat down) we left. Not a morsel of food found its way from the kitchen to our table. 90 minutes, and they served us nothing. I understand that kitchens can get backed up and service can be tough – but this was outrageous. If customers can’t be served in a reasonable timeframe, then a restaurant shouldn’t be open. We will never be back. I dismissed reviews complaining about the service, but see now that they were right. Do yourself a favor and skip The Pearl – Boston Landing. This place won’t be here for long – a restaurant that can’t get food to its customers in under 90 mins, won’t be part of Boston’s dining scene for long.
Big thumbs down.

Very, very poorly organized. Management needs to step up and show their employees how to tend to customers in a proper order, and in a timely fashion. Nice atmosphere, but that doesn’t make up for the extremely slow service (almost two hours for drinks and burgers), watching food sit under heat lamps while numerous staff just walk by it; I was served and finished my entire burger before my husband’s even came out, and even then my fries were cold. Once my husband did get his, it was wrong, and we’re pretty sure it was someone else’s and they just gave it to him instead. Two couples beside us left because they waited at least 10 minutes and weren’t even acknowledged. Then the food was mediocre at best. ONE bartender was busting his butt—the rest moved like they were on vacation.

I’m truly disappointed with the experience my group and I had at this restaurant. What was meant to be a celebratory graduation dinner for eight turned into a frustrating evening. The service was extremely slow — our drinks took over an hour to arrive, and the food took even longer.
To make matters worse, we were all charged a “delivery fee,” despite dining in at the restaurant. By the time I noticed, my card had already been charged. I brought it to the attention of one of the owners, and while they gave me a receipt indicating a refund had been issued, it has now been a full week and I have yet to see that refund reflected in my account.
I made a point to support a Black-owned business, but unfortunately, this experience felt more like being taken advantage of than being appreciated as a customer. My entire group left disappointed, and what should have been a special evening was overshadowed by poor service and unresolved billing issues.
