Just had dinner at Lord Bennett’s. The food was heavenly! I had the veggie pasta with blackened prawns, one person had the salmon special and last person had pasta with smoked salmon. All 3 were so good. Veggies were cooked perfectly. Staff was very nice and very accommodating. Highly recommend. View was also wonderful . We showed up without a reservation and waited less than 10 minutes on a Saturday night.

You know, it’s really hard to find a 4 star+ restaurant on the Oregon coast, but this 4 course meal was the best we’ve had in years. Maybe better than our home BBQ. Lol. But the food was amazing, the service was very attentive and pleasant. Over all a great meal experience. If you are in or passing through Bandon, Oregon, this is truly a must stop.

The food was okay. The crab cakes were okay, not the best I’ve had but not the worst. My husband had the pasta with smoked salmon and he liked it. I had the pasta with crab legs, it was okay, I would describe the sauce as more of a soup base than an actual sauce. They give you a side of vegetables and they are covered in some sort of soy sauce. The chocolate mousse wasn’t bad.

Great restaurant with delicious food and beautiful view of the face rock. The service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious, although the raspberries in our salad had some white mold on it, they promptly exchanged it when we pointed it out. Overall, a good experience.

I highly recommend the Oregon Lamb Chops. The bread & butter they first gave us was appetizing. For desert I enjoyed the blueberry cobbler, house cheesecake (coconut), ice cream, and the chocolate mousse. The waiters were very helpful and informative. The view from the restaurant was nice as you can see the coast.

A five star sweep! But I have to confess that Lord Bennett’s was not our first choice but so glad that we ended up there. We were in Bandon for one night while traveling the Oregon coast. When we arrived at the first restaurant, they told us that both their fryer and grill were not working and tossed us a menu with anything grilled or fried crossed out in black marker. Classy. We passed. So, we went across the street to an Italian restaurant and twenty minutes before their published closing time, they said that “they were done for the night.” OK, who is open past eight o’clock and we showed up at Lord Bennett’s and got a warm welcome. It’s the off season so it wasn’t real busy but the menu looked great and the dining room was warm and inviting. I had the halibut cheeks special and my wife treated herself to the Ahi. Both dishes were perfect. The fish was terrific but the vegetable side dish especially outstanding. And our server was very pleasant without being cloying. Highly recommend Lord Bennet’s!

The hostess and wait staff were very friendly and helpful. Food which was delicious came out quickly. I had the Seafood sampler and I loved it as I could taste a little bit of everything. The veggies especially the Broccoli and Asparagus were very flavorful! I wanted to order the Chocolate Mousse for dessert but I had no room for it The view of the ocean from our table was amazing!

Quiet on a chilly wet Sunday evening in December guessing sunset would be gorgeous other times of year. We added a salad to our meal so not necessary. But delicious. We got extra veg instead of rice and it was the best variety of veg we have ever gotten. Also delicious. We both enjoyed our fish. Being from a landlocked state we are getting as much fish as we can on our trip. We splurged and got dessert as well. Yum.

Making a reservation by phone is a must. We were warmly greeted and immediately taken to our tables while other guests without reservations were offered takeout menus.
When you make your reservation, ask for tables by the window to enjoy sunset falling on Face Rock. There’s also a table for two facing the ocean where you can sit next to your dining companion – that looks like one of the best tables.
Food was pricey and disappointing, with the exception of the vegetables. The vegetables were very good. Bread rolls were dry. Pasta was garlicky. The steak was prepared as requested and good.
This was just an ok experience with a fine dining price.
