So good!! Love this one – super friendly staff, super clean and brand new. Met the owner – also incredibly nice and he shared about the cool touches to this location (including the orange bronco). Plus, our bowls were delish!!

Your lady behind the counter last night was so patient with a very high needs customer making her explain everything on the menu she was amazing and a credit to your business, but still noticed me and need to get through the line she was able to navigate both things with style and grace and make everyone feel seen. She provided me with an allergy safe bowl really quick. Really appreciated her care for your customers and amazing customer service.

(1:30pm Saturday 2/15/26) While we haven’t even tasted our Açaí bowls yet, (they look amazing) our experience with the staff has turned us away from returning to Playa Bowls again. My husband and I have never had an Açaí bowl before and we had a question about how the “Açaí” bowl was made? When I pronounced “Açaí” wrong I was so embarrassed and literally was corrected by the young lady in a was where I felt like a child being scolded by a teacher. I then mentioned it to my husband only to find out she did the same thing to him regarding the word “Costa”.. he also felt the same way. We were afraid to order anything from the menu that we couldn’t pronounce correctly. We waited for our food and no one was in the store. She then left our bag on the far counter and said your bowls are ready. So she couldn’t hand them to us either? Idk we just felt like we were 50+ year olds being bullied by the mean girls! So, an uncomfortable situation now leads us to, we will not be returning. Hoping the bowls are as good as they look!

Absolutely love this place. So incredibly happy they opened a location in Orange because originally we were driving to Shelton to get their Açaí bowls. The bowls are always refreshing and tasty. The girl who has been working the past few times we have been in was super kind and helpful. The atmosphere is great, from good decor to free stickers.

I went for the first time today at 7 pm and I decided hey what’s the vibe? I answered myself and said “playa bowls” first off, the ladies up front were super kind and didn’t rush you to make a decision. Soooo many things to choose from!!!! I couldn’t decide. But finally I did and got an açaí bowl. It was outstanding!!!! So aesthetically pleasing too because everyone knows the phone eats first 🙂 xoxo
