I am genuinely concerned about what is to transpire in the coming hours. I’m pretty sure if you googled food poisoning, this place would be pictured. There is an interesting…. Food? Item. It is either fried chicken or shrimp tossed in what seems to be pudding. All of the food is Asian buffet food shaped, but definitely not Asian buffet food flavored. It’s almost like an Asian buffet fever dream. The food tastes like a computer glitch.

Food was alright but the place seems very run down, not very clean, ants and high prices for what you get. My husband and I with our 6 year old was around $35 with just water for drinks.
Has some basic food choices and more sushi than anything which I’m sure people like but not a fan of sushi so was hard to find a whole lot to eat. The sesame chicken was pretty much breading not much chicken in it. The thing that disgusted me was the ice cream area. The bowl the scoops were is was so nasty and has some ice cream on the table next to it that had ants all over eating it. Included picture. The front counter lady was okay but seemed put off that she had to help us like she didn’t want to be there. Also I think it’s weird you pay before you eat but then at the tables it says that they will charge you if you leave a lot of uneaten food on your plates. How do that determine that and do they tell you they are gonna charge you or how does that work.. very strange. Lots of signs saying children under 12 have to be accompanied by an adult at the buffet which I get that probably should be a thing, but seems tacky how many signs they had all over about it. Overall would not eat there again. Chicken broccoli was mostly all broccoli and the fried rice was not very good which is usually my favorite thing.

It is unfortunate to hear that this establishment will be closing its doors at the end of September, specifically on the 30th. Nevertheless, their buffet has consistently been of high quality, and their food has always been quite delicious. I will genuinely miss this restaurant.

I read up to see what the latest reviews were on No. 1 Asian Buffet. It has been several years since I’ve been. Years back it was amazing! The reviews were mixed and my wife and I were hesitant (I’m sure we can all agree that money is to hard to come by these days, to keep having these horrible experiences, out trying to have an affordable and enjoyable meal).
Tonight we decided to go ahead and give them a try.
We were so happy we did!
It was after 7 when we arrived and the young lady and young man at the register were so super nice and asked us if we would like to look before we chose to dine, because they wouldn’t be bringing anymore food out. I had read other reviews that spoke negative about them not bringing out food after a certain time and the workers being rude. We looked over the buffet and there was plenty of food, so we chose to stay.

My husband liked it a lot more than me cuz he said the crawfish were the best he ever had — came out of the shell so easily. For me the taste of the food was not as good as what I’ve had but it was good. Really really did not like the egg drop soup at all. I’m normally love egg drop soup. Had kind of a funny taste to me. The Hibachi was excellent!

Food was all cold, it took them 30 minutes and countless other people to come into get fresh food. The boy working was nice though. No one in my party enjoyed their food. It’s also weird you have to pay before you eat, especially at a place like this.

We love it. We go in about once a week and eat here. Not sure when others go, because I am seeing poor reviews. We have had 1 trip that wasn’t as pleased as usual. The staff is always very friendly and nice. We always get a refill or asked if want one. The food is fresh and it doesn’t sound like a lunchroom cafeteria either. Nothing bad to say, and the food is always good.
