We stopped here to grab a donut while waiting for a nearby store to open and c were we impressed. We’re from the coast so don’t come here that often but even so, we’d heard of Voodoo donuts which is right across there street. They’re very well known in the area but honestly, they don’t hold a candle to Angel’s. We each got 2 donuts and they were some of the best we’ve ever had. They were light and fluffy, not grease-ladened or dry. There were so many flavors and types to choose some. I can’t say enough good things about them. I only wish they had an East coast style Bismarck which is a long puff pastry filled with whipped cream and either a blueberry filling or strawberry. I guess they’re just not made on this side of the country.
Skip Voodoo and go here. You won’t be sorry.

Angel has always have had amazing donuts. The ice cream is great. I tried the burger and it tasted very good. Overall a good place to get donuts and ice cream and if want a meal the burgers and fries is a nice option.

With these old ears I had heard mysterious whisperings of a doughnut place that also had good hamburgers. Perhaps a fracture in the space time continuum, an oxymoron of the best kind, a crux of the world where good hamburgers exist surprisingly right next to their exact opposites.
This eternal search for an excellent hamburger, like survivors in the desert searching for an oasis or climbing mountain slopes in search of the wise, holy, transcendent burger. Could it be here nestled amongst the donuts? A hidden treasure in plain sight?
I am hesitant, a bit nervous as I sit down and prepare to take my first bite. I arranged all of my taste buds in a row like an advancing battalion and shove that savory burger into my mouth. My very first thought, was that I had hit pay dirt! Where the burgers and donuts stand side-by-side, exact opposites, yet both sublime!
And then I took that fateful second bite and the world twisted on its axis, where compasses spin and one loses all sense of direction. That second bite was not good. Perhaps the saltiest burger I have ever had. Each bite compounding in my mouth, salt upon salt. I ate half and had to throw the other half away.
The onion rings were OK, nothing really to write home about, but solid. And of course the drinks were canned from the cooler, a shortcut that always irritates me. Restaurants do this I think is a way to avoid responsibility, to save themselves time. I would prefer an iced tea made fresh during the day or fountain drinks where I can mix them until they are perfect.
I hate to say this as it sounds dismissive, but judging from that one burger, perhaps they should stay in their lane. I’m afraid it was a disappointment.
After the disheartening burger, I took a moment and perused their donut section. It was impressive and I took some home to share with my wife. Now there, is the core of this business. It is the foundation they rest on, the siren song that draws in the sailors.
The donuts were wonderful. Large and flavorful, some full of magic and others dipped in the sea of dreams. Their ice cream section looked tremendous, a panoply of colors and flavors that seemed to never end. Where acolytes could come on their holy quest many times before trying them all.
OK, maybe I got them on a bad day, I am not particularly sensitive to salt put that burger is not something I would order again. My rating for this earnest and deserving establishment would have been lower except that they excel in that core, donut adventure.
I can understand the desire to expand and compete against the well-heeled voodoo donut shop that rudely opened just a block away, obviously a ruthless marketing tactic. Voodoo is a fad and will go on and do what it will do. But places like Angels Donuts will live on carried by tradition and a grateful community.
Beyond that, it was great to see the kids pondering over their ice cream choices and bonding with their parents via delicious memories. It’s the kind of place that had I gone to so many years back in my youth that it would still live on in my dreams.

Horrible place for donuts at 1am. I feel like they definitely recycle the donuts that don’t sell. We got a half dozen and they were so dry and weird looking. Not worth the $25. Atmosphere was different, it felt like they were in the middle of a remodel and don’t have money to finish it or they just don’t know how to decorate so people want to come here. I wish I would have looked at what I was getting harder and better . The employees were nice. I will never go there again for as long as I live .

The donuts are fantastic. I found a huge selection to be refreshing to see so many choices but also a little overwhelming cuz I wanted to try all of them. The girl working the night I came in didn’t have too much to say but was great at packing the donuts in there without messing up the frosting on the top that was pretty amazing. They also have a huge selection of ice cream here. Tables and chairs are readily available if you want to go for the double or triple scoop.

The staff were very considerate, I had placed an order through Uber eats and ordered something they were out of. The staff called me and kindly offered replacements. The donuts were fresh, soft and delicious. I also got their pistachio ice cream. It was creamy, you could taste the pistachio, and it was not overly sweet. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Absolutely delicious! What a wonderful addition to my sweets places! I love how they’re open late some days, their umpqua icecream and their AMAZING cinnamon rolls. I’ve NEVER had cinnamon rolls quite like these. They’re melt in your mouth, just the right amount of sweetness and icing melted into the bread but also it has this flaky this to it and then this like fried donut kind of taste to it it’s magical, & and it will change your life I would definitely recommend at least trying listen to roll and you will be hooked for life!

Visited this place for the first time and the donuts were Delicious. They also have a great selection of ice cream and vegan options. The staff members were very friendly and willing to help. This is the best shop out of the franchise !!!

A comfortable little space to go in for some late night sweets, had the pleasure of enjoying a variety dozen they had fresh a few months back.
Pricing per donut was fairly decent comparable to other places, but the way they freshly pulled apart with ease even after a day out is truly testament to their quality. Would recommend!

Angel’s is a donut shop that also serve ice cream….and fantastic cheese burgers! When I was first told this I was very skeptical and thought that they can’t be very good. But after looking at photos on Google Maps, I knew I had to experience this for myself. I ordered the Angel’s Burger. It comes with Cheddar cheese, bacon, ham, a sausage patty, a fried egg and the usual stuff (mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, etc. Who can say no to that?
It’s a great burger. It’s not Killer or Crave Grill level but it’s fab. They also serve Philly and chicken sandwiches and hot dogs. Pretty unusual for a donut shop. Plenty of parking. Check out my profile for more great eateries and craft cocktail bars. ✌
