I remember going regularly to Saki’s thirty five years ago in college, it was open late and provided sustenance after a night out dancing at Club Babyhead or some other hot spot. I was beyond delighted to find it is still there and better than ever. We stopped in for a couple slices if pizza, one a traditional Greek style, and one a deep dish or pan style which was loaded with garlic, chicken, and roasted broccoli on a surprisingly delicate and flavorful crust. With so many places closing in Providence, it felt great to have an old friend still going strong. Forget the chains and just come here for your pizza fix.

I was enjoying a walk thru downtown and stopped for a slice of pizza and a del’s frozen lemonade. I chose pizza Hawaii. it was very good.
