You can find me here at least once a week, sometimes twice, three times, after a long day of shooting 115 in a round of golf with a fellas.

I love this place. The atmosphere is really cool. They did a great job at the interior decor giving it a Korean street vibe.

The food is amazing! You do cook it yourself so you cant really get mad at anyone if you mess it up. It is all you can eat proteins and sides. For the meats I stick to the brisket & Galbi. I’ve tried others but these are my two favorites. I also love the cheese dip. Sounds a little odd dipping meat in cheese but its a hit! Trust me.

For the sides I go with the rice, cheese-corn, and steamed egg. I personally like combining the 3 and eating it that way.

The staff is always super cool and always on point. I highly recommend this place for a cool date night, or just hanging out with friends.

My absolute favorite! Huge shout out to all the staff that takes me and my 5 year olds Kpop requests. Food is always great and seasoned so lovely. Great variety and just can’t beat the unlimited options. Would recommend a million times over. We go at least twice a month!!

Such a good price for all you can eat considering the quality of the food! You cook yourself but it cant turn out good if the product is not and it surely is. The macaroni salad is a little sweet which was awesome and they seem to use the same mix for the mashed potatoes they are amazing! Kimchi, awesome! Bulgogi awesome! Rice, awesome! Soju, awesome! Service, awesome! Fully recommend. Can’t wait to go back

Coming in town on business my co-workers and I came here by looking it up on you want to try something new. Walking in your greeted very nicely by the host to get your table ready for you you go sit down at your table and then your experience starts. We had an amazing staff member help us and show us what to do as it was our first time being there they gave great recommendations on the food on what to try and had to cook the food to certain degrees so it wasn’t to overcooked. Will there be an all you can eat you can try everything on the menu as many times as you want just as long as you eat the food don’t waste it, don’t order more than you can eat. Having this type of experience was fun as you ordered off the menu and they brought the food out to you and then in the center of the table was a grill and you’re able to cook the food right in the center of the table to the way you like it. We ordered garlic steaks, Cajun shrimp, calamari, octopus, Cajun pork belly. We try to lease everything once and everything was amazing down to the sauces that they bring out to you, even down to the house salad. The atmosphere is a very fun atmosphere everybody’s having fun people are talking at their tables there’s music and videos playing in the background overall a very amazing experience for the first time being there. Can’t wait to be back in town and go there again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Vagabond Korean BBQ is the spot if you’re in Jacksonville and hungry for something different. The energy here is unmatched — grills sizzling at the table, everyone cooking and laughing, and plates of food that just keep coming. The meat is always fresh, perfectly marinated, and honestly some of the best flavors I’ve had in town.

What really makes it though is the vibe. The staff are quick, friendly, and they make you feel right at home. It’s the kind of place where you go with friends and end up staying way longer than you planned because you’re having such a good time.

If you’re local, you know how hard it is to find a spot that’s both fun and delicious — Vagabond nails both. Definitely one of my go-to’s in Jax when I want an unforgettable meal.

Rigid policy ruined what should’ve been a simple night out

I stopped in to meet friends who were already seated and eating. I arrived about an hour after they did and planned only to hang out and have a few beers — no food. After sitting for 10–15 minutes waiting for a server, I tried to order a beer tower to celebrate a friend who just bought a house.

That’s when I was told I would be charged just for sitting at the table, even though I wasn’t eating. I explained this calmly to the server and later to the manager, but both insisted that anyone seated must pay, no exceptions.

I understand why an all-you-can-eat restaurant would have a policy like this, and I don’t disagree with the intent. What was disappointing is that the policy isn’t clearly stated on the website and there was zero flexibility for a very reasonable situation — a guest joining late, not eating, and intending to buy drinks.

I’m a 40-year-old guy with a family and don’t get many chances to go out with friends. Instead of relaxing and celebrating, I ended up leaving altogether.

Good food policies don’t replace good hospitality. This experience felt unnecessarily rigid and cost them a paying customer who simply wanted to enjoy a drink with friends.

The service was excellent and the ambiance was great. The food was horrible. If you are looking for well made Korean food and actual steak- look elsewhere. The sides that were given were rotten. Not classic fermented Korean sides but actually rotten (the cabage kimchi and radish). The meat was ok, but for that price and cut i couldve went to Lotte and done so myself ngl. The Korean tofu soup which i was very excited to try was genuinely gross, not mid but gross. I looked it up, the owner is not even Korean which explains that lol. I know Jax is not a foodie city, but cmon y’all we deserve better QUALITY restaurants.

First time here, and it was amazing. Host was very nice. We were seated almost immediately. Food was flavorful, portion sizes are big, restaurant was clean with a vibrant atmosphere. Laura was our server and she was AMAZING. She explained the whole dining experience perfectly, she was very attentive to our burner and plates. Absolutely wonderful experience. Can’t wait to come back.

This is our favorite Korean-BBQ spot in Jax. Service is always great, and the food is always stellar. It’s an AYCE situation, and there are different menus for lunch and dinner. Some of Our favorite items are Galbi, bulgogi, spicy pork belly, calamari and the Cajun shrimp. Their kimchi is always on point, and don’t forget to grab a Cass and Soju! Atmosphere is fun, and it’s always a good time.
