The tea was a disappointment for an Indian restaurant.
The restaurant is located in the main road, but if you are trying to spot it by the name vraj, you would definitely miss it, for no where in the board vraj is prominent. The have only the vraj logo. So, if you are trying to spot, keep in mind to search not for vraj, but for Indian bar and restaurant.
The atmosphere is very nice and lit well and soft.
They do have a good collection of drinks. Tried draft beer, surprisingly it came in a glass like a mini version of Collins glass, unlike the usual Oktoberfest mug, popular over here in Ethiopia.
Pepper chicken was good ( they have some other fancy name) and served hot. Would recommend it for others.
The jeera chicken ( again they have some other fancy name) was ok.
Garlic naan was the hooking deal. They have priced Indian breads so low, as equal to prices in India. However the quantity and quality is not compromised. Bet, you cannot get such excellent naans in this price anywhere in entire eithiopia, in a fine dine restaurant.
Naan and jeera chicken were not hot when served. May be they cooked it and left it without keeping it warm, till served.
Spiciness/pungency is subtle to cater for Ethiopian. But, you can ask them to cook as per your scoville scale.
Service was excellent.
Main course was served after we completed the starters. That hardly happens in restaurants over here.
As the crowd descended they were kind to play the instrumental music that I had in my mobile.
When we were about to leave they came with a suggestion to take their gulab jamun (sweet) as compliment. Declined it politely. (Restaurant) starters love.
The service excelled when, without any request, a person came with umbrella to protect us from rain, till we entered our cab.
Definitely not a place for cheap boozers.
Good enough for couples and families. Sufficient space available for road parking.
The lamb korma, chicken masala, and butter chicken were amazing as was the sizzling satay chicken and naan breads.
By the way, food was just fine, and the server Titi was amazing.
