I loved my meal of shrimp fajitas!
The salsa that came with the chips was flavorful and hot. I don’t tolerate heat(spice) well in food, so I could only barely dip my chip in the salsa. My husband loved the salsa flavor but then complained of a garlic aftertaste.
Nice, friendly staff. The chairs at the tables had cushions, which was nice.
My daughter, who ordered the ultimate nachos (mild), had to take a break from eating a few times until her mouth wasn’t burning so much. She said the red sauce on her nachos wasn’t as spicy/hot as the salsa though.
The churritos tasted like fried breadsticks that were coated in cinnamon and sugar vs scone dough.

Stopped here on a roadtrip from MA to TX after living in New England for 6 years and it is the best Mexican food we have had in a long long time, and as El Paso natives we are picky about our Mexican food = )
My partner and I got the huevos rancheros and they were perfection. Chips and salsa were so delicious and staff was so kind. A really great atmosphere and a perfect respite after so many days on the road!

Really enjoyed the food. Quiet cozy little stop. Tried the tostada, taco, and enchilada combo. Only real critique was I’d have liked a bit more flavor with the ground beef in the enchilada but mixing in their salsa with the meal more than made up for it. Loved the toasted soft shell of the taco. The tostada was light but I got full halfway through.

I read the recent reviews that weren’t great; however, I decided to give this place a try, since I’m a truck driver and was driving thru the area.
I ordered a bean and cheese burrito ( light amount of cheese) over the phone. When I went to pick up the order the guy said $11.25.
11.25 for a burrito with no meat..beans and lite cheese only??!!! Are you kidding me. I asked him if this is correct and he said yes; food prices have risen. You can purchase an entire bag of beans for $1.00 or $2.00 tops ( in-today’s inflation cost)
I can maybe see that price if I ordered a steak burrito.
To make matters worse, they didn’t even include chips in my bag; the lady and the guy told me I had to pay extra(!?) on top of the 11.25 and 1.00 tip I provided.
I travel the entire United States and Canada, and I have never encountered a Mexican restaurant charging this price; including expensive California or the north east .
You not only lost my business but any truckers that ask me for a local recommendation, it won’t be your business!! I would instead recommend the beansad steams place near you. A large bagel with two eggs , meat , and sliced cheddar cheese for a lot cheaper..!

This place has gone down hill since my last visit!! The food was horrible, they no longer serve alcohol, and they brought my husband the wrong soda 3 times!!! Don’t waste your time or money go to 3 margarita it’s WAY better!!

We stopped and ate at this restaurant on our way to Arkansas. There were no very many choices closed to the high way so we picked the first that showed in Google map. We were surprised how taste the food was. We enjoy the salsa very much: it has a very good taste. It has the perfect spicy which is a little spicy but not too hot that makes you cry :-). I ordered the arrachera bistek that I thought it was very good. We also order the special of the day which was also good. The best taste was the salsa though. I would probably try again if we stopped by there.
