Friendly staff and excellent food – ordered from here tonight and loved their Hibachi Tofu Plate w/ Mixed Vegetables. The veggies are super fresh and the tofu was absolutely perfect (please don’t change a thing!). Ginger sauce is great, too.
My daughter and husband also loved their Teriyaki Chicken.
Best I’ve had since living in the Seattle area over a decade ago. Will be a regular from here on out.

This is not like the other kimono restaurants in Winston. You pay tge same price but you don’t get the soup nor salad. And its a fast food place. You go in, order at counter, pay, they give you your cups and you get your own drinks. They ask for a tip when you order but you get the same service as any fast food place. If I want their food I will go into Winston where I get the soup. Salad and table service

Paid 7.00 for 6 dumplings which is crazy. The chicken had good flavor but the steak was bland. They don’t include soup for the hibachi and I specifically said “no mushrooms”, but I received mushrooms. Decent food for the price.

Food is always wonderful. My husband and I did dine in tonight Friday 10/24 and they were extremely busy inside and with call in/take out orders. However the one lady and gentleman working were attentive and provided excellent service!

This Kimono has pickup and delivery food mastered! They are so friendly and accommodating. We had spicy teriyaki chicken, California roll add cream cheese, funky roll and crab rangoon. The mustard sauce is so good and different. Their hibachi is the best around.

I’ve eaten here about five or six times. It’s okay, but definitely not the best spot for Japanese food. The rice is pretty plain, and they tend to be stingy with the meat—most of the plate is just vegetables. I wouldn’t recommend the shrimp or steak. Also, they sometimes forget to include the sauce, which they charge $1 for each.
If you’re a local, I’d put it like this: it’s better than Shoto, but not as good as Fuji Moto.
