I am craving and ordered takeout Butter Chicken from this Indian Restaurant as a first time customer. Order arrived in a simple plastic bag and contained in a sturdy circular container. Butter Chicken tasted great, spicy, flavorful, and indulging. Portions are adequate. Price is reasonable. I am glad they opened late. They have different Indian/ Punjabi meals too. I recommend visits.

The same high standard is maintained over time, regardless of how busy the restaurant is. Never disappoint me whenever I order my food from here. Main thing is about food taste, their all dishes have unique flavour. Ingredients are fresh, with flavours that are well-balanced rather than just salty or bland.
Bread pakora, manchurian, paneer jalfrezi was so good. Can’t wait to try other dishes. Service was so fast and in good manner, didn’t have to wait longer.
Must visit this restaurant to get real taste of Indian food.

very poor quality. I ordered malai chaap. I have had malai chaap before from oth places in canada but this one is nothing like it, rubbery texture, no gravy, totally dry. called the restaurant about this and the chef says “humare yaha esi j aati hati” don’t go here for your chaap cravings.

I tried Chicken Curry and Chicken Lollipop.
It was amazing, had something actually tasting like Indian food not British copy of Indian food.
Chicken Lollipop is a must try, expect it to taste exactly like Manchurian (Indian style). Chicken Curry tasted almost as authentic Indian Curry, not like the ones adjusted for British. My money was well spent, I am more than satisfied for the taste I was delivered. Thank you for delivering the taste on my buck.

We ordered

Chole Bhature-
Samosas – oily and bad
Chai- average
Mint Paneer – Paneer was burnt and was not fresh and not soft – for $17 it’s a total waste

We told them the samosas are too bad and oily and even returned the one we didn’t touch. Common Courtesy is to not charge. They charges us full and upon requesting not to charge as we didn’t eat it we were still charged half.

Place could be great potential but unfortunately we will not return.

The only 2 good things which got them a 2 star is
1 – patio (the server was kind enough to clean up the table even when patio service has not started for the season)
2 – the server was nice and helpful

I have a great experience at Punjabi Shaan Sweets and Restaurant. The noodles and sweets were fresh, flavourful, and prepared with authentic Punjabi taste. The balance of spices is perfect, and the sweets are rich without being overly sugary.

A special mention to Deep for the excellent customer service. He is friendly, attentive, and made sure everything is served on time. His polite attitude and helpful nature made the visit even better.

You won’t find such good Chana Bature at such price. They also have the best Chicken Lollipop in Canada. Fish pakoda is also very good.
We very often have food from this place and till now whatever we have tried was worth the price and had authentic taste.
