We’ve tried the black bean noodles (a great value at 6.99?!), seafood jjampong (packed with a good amount of seafood!), seafood noodle soup, and the pork belly teriyaki. Everything has been delicious! We’ve been back every time for their jjampong and it’s been consistently amazing.
You can also ask for spicier jjampong and rice instead of noodles!
We’ll definitely be back!
For 2 people, it costs about $26-$34 depending on if you get drinks or not. This is how much 2 Chicken Teriyaki meals costs without any addons. It comes with miso soup, too. (It’s about $13 for one meal.)
When I tell you it was good I mean it. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I had my leftovers for breakfast this morning and it was still very very tasty. I am sad I don’t live in the area because if I did I would be going to this place all the time.
I unfortunately did not manage to catch the name of the owner, but he seemed like a very kind, skilled, and hospitable gentleman and he treated us very well.
It’s kind of a one man show though, unless there was more staff we just didnt see. This did mean the wait was slightly longer, but boy was the food, price, and service absolutely worth it. My family is planning to come back and eat there again for sure. Good chance they’ll be regulars, honestly. It was just that awesome. I’m so envious they live nearby.
I can’t speak to the authenticity properly, as I don’t have the familiarity with Korean food or cultural background to make that call. I *will* say, however, the owner said he is from Korea originally iirc, I saw Korean being freely spoken in the restaurant both by him and by diners, the menu is both in Korean and English, and the food is absolutely incredible. So, make of that what you will.
Potential allergens are listed on a wall plaque, which is very helpful if that is a concern. It was for my Mom, and that being openly available assured her we could safely eat there.
Also, the way you order is pretty neat. Every table is equipped with it’s own menu screens and you select what you want directly from there. It lets you make adjustments as you want to the food (within reason of course) The pricing is very transparent and honest too. If you select something that is going to change the pricing, it directly tells you so and tells you tax stuff. You can see your potential bill before ordering so you know exactly what to expect.
Utensils and napkins are easy to access and see. You can choose what you need. Chopsticks are an option if you prefer them. There is a water dispenser available if you prefer that and free to use with your meal, it has cold and hot.
Teriyaking is honestly a lovely establishment overall. I highly recommend giving it a try at least once. Be warned, you might become addicted!
I’m not sure why it still shows as “closed” on yelp, but I’m happy to see them back in business.
The portions were generous, the ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were spot on. The service was friendly, and the ambiance made the dining experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend! ️
The service was excellent as well. We visited around 7:45 p.m., but they still welcomed us warmly and made our day.
It was actually my moving-in day, and I truly appreciated being served such a delicious meal.
I’ll definitely be visiting again soon!
Also when we went, they play English-speaking Christian worship music. I really appreciated this background music while eating delicious Korean-Chinese food. If you’re easily offended, I recommend not to eat here. But overall great place!
We could not wait for it to open again and finally found the open sign on this week. Sadly, it is not as good as the original. The shrimp are smaller and overcooked. The flavors were not as amazing. We might try them out one more time, but we are sad.
Before the update…The flavors in this Shrimp Teriyaki Bowl are AMAZING! We keep coming back here several times a week because the food is so good! The staff is always friendly with great service. I am greeted with a smile every time I come in the door. They offer an outdoor patio, so we come with our dog. With lots of parking as well, this place is A MUST TRY
Delicious Korean favorites, Jjajangmyeon, Jjamppong, Tang Suyuk, and Tteokbokki. Friendly owner and super easy table side kiosk ordering with pictures.
We’ll be back this weekend with friends!
