I recently tried Tasty Corner Chinese Restaurant and had a great experience.
I ordered the golden garlic pork spareribs, Shanghai-style pork dumplings, and the Chong Qing hot chicken.
Every dish tasted very good and was full of flavor. The spareribs were savory and fragrant, the dumplings were juicy and well-seasoned, and the Chong Qing hot chicken was especially enjoyable. I ordered it with mild spiciness, and it was perfectly balanced without being overwhelming.
Overall, the food was delicious, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
The staff is very friendly!

One of my Chinese restaurants in Portland. My fav dish is their dried pot intestine. They also offer lunch special which is a great deal. When I live around here, this place was my favorite lunch place. The dishes come out pretty fast, the restaurant is clean, and staffs are friendly. My another favorite thing is I don’t feel heavy after I eat which is rare with Chinese food. Overall love this place

Stopped by because we were in the area. What great food! We had wonton noodle soup, Mandarin Crispy Chicken and Ma Po Tofu, all were very good. We especially enjoyed the soup and Ma Po Tofu (one of the best in Portland). We will be back!

My friend and I had dinner here at around 5:10 PM yesterday. We were seated right away. I got the hot and spicy house with beef which was savory and tasty. The onions were too bitter for me. I like slightly firm veggies, but not onions. I like them to be cooked throughly. Never tried hand shaven noodles before but I really liked the texture. It was almost like thick ramen noodles. Reasonable price for a big portion. I almost left some food. My friend did.
The restaurant looked clean, but there were some tiny food debris here and there on my side in our booth. And of course like other restaurants in Portland, there was a fly. What disgusted me was the menu. Their menu inside weren’t laminated so it had mold along the edge. Good thing I had disinfecting wipes with me. I hope they replace with laminated ones soon.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants shut down. Before they closed, they recommended Tasty Corner. First visit hooked me with the food. By the second visit they already recognized me and my wife and recommended a new dish for us to try (which was stellar – chicken stir fry with peppers). Third visit they had my drink order memorized and knew us by name. We now come here every week, and every time they have new dish recommendations that are A+. Tasty Corner is the best of food and service.

DELICIOUS
we had Szechuan beef brisket noodle soup and Chong Qing chicken. Don’t come here without getting the chicken, it was life changing. Kept us warm in the cold rain. The beef soup was amazing as well, tender noodles, hearty beef and the broth was sooooo flavorful. Excellent spot would recommend.

The good stuff. They absolutely crush it when it comes to Sichuan food. Everything’s got the right type of spices, the quantities are large, and prices affordable.
They do a vegetarian mapo tofu that is delicious with rice, and the Sichuan cold noodles (also vegetarian) are delectable.
Service is quick and there’s no wait even on the weekends.
For a party of two, we had plenty of leftovers and enjoyed them the next day. Will definitely be back to try other dishes!

Going with a mid score since 2/22/26 was my first visit. Mopo Bean curd was oily. Oil floating on the dish. Green beans were really great! Shaved noodles are great too.
I’ll be back and update this review. Sorry for no pics.

Incredibly good food and their tofu (in any dish) is honestly the best I’ve ever had. It’s the perfect balance of flavor and texture. My son loves the orange chicken, and honestly so do I, but their menu is diverse and far less “Americanized” than a lot of Chinese restaurants that I’ve been to. Last time we came here, we got the eggplant tofu, which was delicious. Hot and sour soup isn’t really spicy at all but the chili oil at the table fixes that.
