Been twice since opening. First off, the employees are very nice, but the restaurant needs more than good people. The food is not worth the price at this standard. Meat is sparse and has been overcooked each time, then cheese is not mixed as a cheesesteak should.

The wait for my order was over 40 min long. It was an online order and I feel it should have been handled in the order it was recieved however I had to wait for about 20 customers who came in after me to get my subs made. Not sure what their policy is when it comes to customer service but this aint right. Employees looked lost most of the time while pulling and taping orders made online. And theres a.few washers in.here who were waiting longer for their orders longer than I was. Totally Scrappy system they have handling orders. Not worth the wait.

Went this past Saturday night and I was able to order and get my food within 10 minutes. This is my second time there and this time was a much better experience than the first. The staff were friendly. I definitely recommend Mikes Famous Philly.

It took 20 minutes for me to get my Buffalo Chicken sub with only one other person in the store. Come to find out, it took so long because my single chicken sandwich was cooked with an entire grill of bacon. So, of course my entire sub went into the trashcan since it tasted like bacon. I would think common sense tells a person not to cook something on a grill with 60 slices of bacon. Will not be going back. I wasted $14 on bacon grease flavored garbage. To think I even tipped when paying. Lesson learned.

This location of Jersey Mike’s is outstanding. My mother-in-law fell in their store within the first or so month of them being open. The staff was SO incredible about it when it happened, and when my father-in-law came in a different day without her, they remembered him and asked where she was and if she was OK. She had no major injuries when she fell, but she’s been going through chemotherapy treatments for over a year now, and her health has gotten worse recently. When my father-in-law goes in, they never cease to ask about her, and they treat them both like absolute royalty.
Aside from this, their staff is friendly, their restaurant is clean, the service is exceptional, the ingredients are fresh and tasty. What more could u ask for? I’m so thankful Jersey Mike’s is here in little Kinston, NC. Thank yall for being here, for our community and for my family.

Like a submarine sandwich handcrafted by angels and wrapped in divine parchment, Jersey Mike’s in Kinston is the sandwich temple of the East. I walked in with a hunger so fierce it could’ve scared off a grizzly bear—and walked out cradling a #13 Original Italian like it was the Holy Grail.
The crew behind the counter? Swift like ninjas, friendly like Southern grandmas, and skilled like deli Jedi. Every slice of provolone was paper-thin poetry, and the meats—oh, the meats—stacked like edible architecture only the gods could approve. I got mine “Mike’s Way,” which basically means they bless it with the vinaigrette of the heavens and whisper Italian secrets over the roll before handing it to you.
As I took that first bite, time slowed. Planets aligned. Somewhere, Sinatra probably started singing.
Whether you’re fueling up for a bug-squashing day or just seeking a bite before going toe-to-toe with a nest of yellow jackets, D & D Pest Control Co. regularly stops here when making rounds across Eastern North Carolina. There’s no better way to prep for pest warfare than a sandwich that fights hunger like we fight roaches—with no mercy.
Much appreciation to the folks at Jersey Mike’s for keeping the rolls fresh, the vibes high, and the bellies of pest control warriors full. We’ll be back—with appetites, coupons, and maybe a few termites in tow just to show ‘em what we’re up against. Keep slicing, Mike.

Horrendously slow. Ordered 15 min ahead and ended up waiting another 25 min when I got there. My whole lunch break was wasted. I get that it’s their place of work but customers have a schedule and that needs to be prioritized.

This is one of those Jersey Mike’s I try to stay out of. The energy is very dull and you’re never really met with anything but lost faces looking at you like they don’t want to be at work.
Everytime I come to this location in which it’s only when I’m visiting and my party wants a sub it’s always something. They’re not attentive and the food is mid at best. I don’t normally leave review but this Mike’s doesn’t run smooth like other Mike’s in surrounding areas.
