We visited Gisele’s Haitian Cuisine based on a friend’s recommendation. The staff was attentive, and we were seated promptly. The service was warm, adding to the experience of our meal.
Taste
The food was absolutely delicious! I tried the Accra for the first time, and it was a standout appetizer. For the main course, I had the stewed oxtail, black rice, plantains, and cabbage. Every dish was flavorful, and even the leftovers the next morning were amazing. The rum punch also had a good kick
Ambiance
The restaurant had a lively and welcoming atmosphere, complete with Haitian music playing in the background. We noticed a small birthday dinner happening, which made it clear that this is a great spot for celebrations.
Recommendation
If you’re looking to try authentic Haitian cuisine, Gisele’s is a must. The flavorful dishes and inviting atmosphere will definitely bring me back for more!

Had my 33rd Birthday event here this past weekend and it was nothing short of AMAZING. The owner really took care of me and my family (as he kept mentioning during our initial conversation). I had 30+ family members present and he held down the restaurant to treat us beyond the customer service I have ever received. Most importantly, the FOOD. The food was so DELICIOUS and if you can get my dad impressed, then you’re doing something more than right. Thanks to the Jean and his staff. God bless you all richly.

We arrived at Gisele’s around 2pm on a Sunday and had no issue getting a table.
We ordered the oxtail with with Haitian black bean rice, potato salad, plantains, and the fritters.
The fritters came with a nice spicy acidic slaw. They were crunchy, oily, and had a nice smokey deep flavor. LOVE
Oxtail felt like it was cooked all day. It was tender, soft, deep dark brown sauce, gooey, and paired perfectly with the Haitian rice. All of the side were solid, plantains were a little dry to me.
Overall a fantastic meal paired with a solid Sunday afternoon nap.

This is a wonderful restaurant. I was initially hesitant at first because of some of the reviews regarding service but all I can say is this is now my go to Haitian spot in the area.
I made a reservation for a party of 8. Had two additional guests and the restaurant was very accommodating. Friendly staff, and the food was superb! We weren’t waiting long for our food as I might have expected for a large group. The drinks were delicious!
Really liked the atmosphere. Music was excellent. Love the Haitian art on the walls and overall the place is just cozy. As a Haitian person I felt proud to take my friends here and give them an authentic experience and opportunity to enjoy our cuisine. They inhaled the food lol

A friend of mine wanted to try this spot so we did. When we arrived I found parking in the bank parking lot because it was closed. When we walked in the man behind the bar seemed to be rushing us to order and he was terrible with his customer service. I had to give it back to him to let him know and he calmed down a bit. In the restaurant they allowed you to eat inside or out so we chose out. The lady took our order and said it would be served in to go plates. I order the goat and red wine and my friend ordered the fish. The wine listed wasn’t even available so I picked a red that might of been old lol smh.
While waiting outside there was a nice breeze. The lady brought out our food and it was good. I even tasted the fish and it was really good. While the customer service was trash the food was good which is why I am giving this place 3 stars.

The food was pretty good. I traveled over 30mins to come get some Haitian food because I was feeling home sick. My only issue is that I waited over an hour and a half. Google said they opened at 12 but they didn’t actually open till 1. Then I waited 30mins for my food to be prepared. They didn’t have any pate and the pate kode was going to be ready in 2hrs.

Was craving some Haitian food and decided to go to Gisele. I can say the food wasn’t bad sadly it wasn’t great either. Fritay was a bit too dry I think some sauce (sòs) would help. I also got the diri cole too, rice wasn’t too bad. The legume was okay. Overall I think it’s just okay. Btw pickliz isn’t that expensive for y’all to be that stingy with it cmon!!!! Do better

Little paradise. So decided to come try this place for a date and let’s just say I do not regret it. The lady helping us was very courteous and nice and the food … GOSH the food … was delicious. That mushroom rice hinting at flavor and the juicy fried goat meat I got was just wonderful. My date got the oxtail which was okay just because I have had jamaican oxtail which I think was way better. I also got the cod fish pattie which was okay but a little too spicy for my liking. As for the drinks, I got juice and let’s just say you can always tell the difference between fresh pressed juice and store bought juice! This was fresh pressed and very refreshing! Will be going again and most definitely recommended!
