Nu-Way is… fine for what it is. The loaded dogs are pretty greasy, chili has an interesting nutmeggy flavor and overall they are okay at best. Chili fries swimming in orange oil. But hey, the place is an institution and is keeping the community fed on very affordable food, however mid it may be. For the three of us it was less than 30 bucks and we left full.

As far as service goes, we showed up at 8p, so somewhat close to closing time, and the ladies were pleasant. Had no issues and got everything we ordered.

First time here. Delicious. Hot fresh cook to order fried onion rings. They didn’t choke the hot dog. The lady who birthday is in January 30 was professional, loved her job, deserves a raise and promotion. Southern hospitality. The gentlemen cooks in the back paid attention to order details getting it right with every bite.

The set up was a cute little restaurant. It was not busy at all when we came in around 8 pm. The service was a little slacking and it did take some time for the hot dogs to come out. The food was okay, It wasn’t nothing special though. There was a good amount of grease in the cheese fries as well. I probably won’t come back here unless we just want to try it again and see if a second experience would be better.

Some things to improve would be:
Better customer service, with employees greeting and suggesting a few items.
Faster service with the food and less grease.

From the moment we stepped out of the car to when we left, the service was exceptional! Some in our party needed an extra hand and employees who weren’t on the clock anymore, helped us into the store. Then we were given tshirts. The staff at the counter were also very helpful for those of us from out of town as to what to order. The food was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. Highly recommend when you are in Macon!

Chili cheese slaw dog – hold the onion is the bestest, along with those incomparable fries. I usually get a Coke zero, but that child’s frosty won’t this time. This place is the bestest.

Food was hot and good nothing super special but we stopped because the name. The service was excellent! All the staff was helpful and kind. I would go back just for the service. We came from Missouri so we had a lot of questions. They answered all of them. I seriously can’t remember the last time my service was this good! Everything was hot and made to order.

I had no idea of what I was getting other than a chili cheese dog. Let me say this, I’m not a fan of the cinnamon chili! What a shock that was to my tasetbuds!! No thanks! The hot dog itself was good but that chili was a No-Go!!! The customer service was excellent and I’d definitely go back but I won’t be ordering chili again. Strange spice in chili to say the least!

Tried this place for the first time today. The customer service was pretty terrible and I had to repeat my whole order at the window and the lady seemed to get an attitude about it. The hot dog and burger were pretty cold, and I regret saying “all the way.” I mean…at least the fries were hot but terrible first experience.

As a hot dog aficionado, I appreciate the variety of hot dog options offered by various hot dog restaurants.

Nu-Way is one of my favorite!

Nu-Way is a regular stop when traveling south of Atlanta, and trips are scheduled for the ability to dine there.  Great dogs, burgers, and onion rings!
