We came here a little while ago for a fundraiser and were impressed by the atmosphere staff and food. Lunch today we were greeted as we entered. Shown to our seats ,menus and drinks arrived quickly. Order the blt. Wow the best we have had. Was perfectly created using really good ingredients. So happy to find finally a good lunchtime place for an impromptu stop or a dinner which looks promising

Our son recommended and we went on a Sunday for brunch, we arrived before they officially opened and they got a table ready for us.
Server was very nice, service was very slow.
We were there for over an hour before our food arrived. Salmon was over cooked and the veggies too and burger was undercooked but the fries were great. The chicken and waffle special was with boned chicken and skewers but it was very good.
Not sure we’d recommend unless they have more help or quicker service. It was a tad expensive for the quality in my opinion and the adult beverages were okay, the old fashioned was more of an ice cube than liquid. I had high hopes since the atmosphere seemed so welcoming. The bathroom situation is odd, right in front of the bar.

Stopped in on a Friday for lunch. Ate outside on patio space street level. Nice view of the church across the street and of the central town rotary.

Service was very friendly, the food was tasty. We opted mainly for a few of the tapas plates. The mussels de Luca were excellent and would recommend. The scallops and bacon were also good, cooked and seasoned perfectly. The lamb kabob was huge portion, seasoned well, cooked to medium rare, only downside little tough to eat, had to cut up into smaller more manageable pieces, we should have asked for a steak knife.

They had a kids menu, pasta, Pizza, etc. Had the cheese pizza, it was super cheesy. Kid enjoyed it.

Overall service and food were good, and I’d recommend a return.

Unfortunately my first visit for take-out dinner did not go well. I tried to order the lobster and corn chowder but was told the house was out of lobster. Prior to my arrival I looked at their posted online menu and really wanted to try the short rib ravioli but was told it was no longer available. I also ordered 4 Parker rolls and disappointingly it was served without the VT butter and smoked salt. However, the pasta bolognese did not disappoint. The sauce had depths of flavor which was just like Mom’s.

Delicious is underrated for Town square Tavern in Keene. Every dishes are phenomenal. The flovors, the textures, the presentation are so well-balance with French touches. One of a kind restaurant for sure.

Cloth lining bacon’s signature dish of David Burke. It Is very mouthwatering and activated my palate for first course. AKA droolingg while the staffs torching the bacon.

Wings and Rings are very unique. The calamari rings are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside (NOT RUBBERY). Wings glazed are the mixture of sweet, savory, and tad bit of spicy.

BEST mussels I’ve ever had. Plum and juicy in a buttery bursting flavor broth.

Crispy skin salmon. I usually only eat raw salmon but I enjoy crispy salmon skin on top of ratatouille whole lot.

Wild mushrooms risotto is wicked creamy and full of flavor and the crunchy of pepita (pumpkin seeds?) just elevates the dish, along with sweet eggplant for finishing touch. it is so smooth.

Desserts are delicious with Flourless chocolate cake and Cinnamon roll cake with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle.

I am so glad to have such a great french/artisan restaurant in New Hampshire.

I can’t forget about Eliza for great service. And theirs raspberry lemonade is so refreshing with fresh raspberry for some acidic drink.

I masked the price from the receipt because it well-worth the money.

Absolutely fantastic! We had four appetizers and two salads. Everything was phenomenal. The smoking bacon is not to be missed, the hummus was deliciously smooth and the deviled eggs were superb. Our bartender, Mikayla was a delight and we enjoyed chatting and appreciated her recommendations. Additionally the rest or the staff including the manager were welcoming and attentive. Service, food and atmosphere was just fantastic. We will be back!

The restaurant looks like it wants to be fancy. I feel like someone described a Michelin Star restaurant to someone who described it to the current owner and they tried to replicate it. They’re priced like they want to be fancy too. And yet every piece of glassware is covered in water spots, they have two different Bloody Mary’s on their menu, they brag that the mix is made in-house and yet they’re out of it. Our backup choice was a rosé wine, and after waiting until we’d been served our food, we were informed they “can’t find their [one and only?] bottle of rosé. The food didn’t taste bad, it just wasn’t worth the prices paid in money, disappointments and compromise.
We declined any dessert and went elsewhere for dessert and drinks. There’s a reason Stage was full and Town Square Tavern was dead (we were alone in the dining room).
I’ll pay good money for a good experience, but this wasn’t worth it. It’s easy enough to pay less for better elsewhere.

Ordered the brick chicken with a side salad (+$1) and a side of vegetables ($8). I was confused when I got 2 side salads, one with no dressing. Called to get it corrected and they said ‘oh the side salad is our vegetables.’

A. You should probably give more info if your side of vegetables is a few leaves of lettuce, a couple cucumbers and 3 cherry tomatoes and

B. Why would you give someone a dry salad with no dressing?

Really poor communication. I’ve never seen a side of vegetables and a side salad be the same thing but both listed on the menu…

I made a reservation for 10 people on my birthday, 3 children 6 years old and under included. The general manager greeted us upon arrival and made us feel more than welcome throughout dinner. He remembered me by name and made sure to tell us how grateful he was for our patronage. Our waitress Sara was wonderful—accommodating and fun. She made each one of us, including the children, feel well taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious and uniquely presented. I would definitely return!

We tried this place out during the pumpkin festival that was going on in Keene. We had reservations for dinner.

Upon arriving, you could tell the servers were swamped and running around. We were seated and given water while we looked over the menu. Drink orders were taken about 5 minutes after as well.

We wanted to put in for the bread appetizer and were told they were out of bread. We went to order the ribeye as well and were also told they were out of that too. You’d think they might have extra food for the popular items on the menu or save some for people with reservations.

After ordering food, it took over an hour for it to come out. Not only that, some of the food was cold and it was obvious it was sitting for a while. Quite unfortunate.

The only good thing about our visit was the waitress. She was very apologetic to us and you could tell she was working very hard to please everyone.

For the price of the food and the long wait times, I would not recommend this place. Better to go somewhere else for a much better price and tastier food.
