One of the best places for Vietnamese food in Kathmandu. The chicken pho was, as always, on point, simple yet full of flavor. The grilled chicken rice was also delicious, with the meat cooked perfectly. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality of food and the cozy ambience absolutely justify it. A must-visit spot if you’re around the Lazimpat area and craving good food.

The food arrived quickly and the service was efficient. The cold noodle dish with vegetables, pickles, BBQ meat, and spring rolls was delicious, full of flavour, and very filling. The pho wasn’t my favourite.

Reached round 9 pm during holiday times @ family of 5 & we all enjoyed the pho greatly. Pork ribs was super tasty & unique in taste. Served by a lovely lady who spoke English so WELL… good job. My margarita was DELICIOUS but little less… wish the quantity was a bit more. Wash room spick & span & parking space enough for 3-5 cars:
Only thing I didn’t like was .. everyone’s main dish was served & mine took a wee bit long in fact too long to serve. Otherwise great & will bring friends too.

Everything we ordered was DELISH
Only critique, the Vietnamese coffee could have been stronger, but I would still get it again ☺️
Can’t wait to go back!

The first thing I will like to mention here is regarding the amazing hospitality. The smiling faces with so much warmth in their service lightens up this place. The ambience is simple, neat, cozy and comfortable. There is outdoor seating for those who prefer to smoke. About the food, everything tasted perfect. There is plenty of food options along with a wide range of options for non alcoholic drinks as well. Prices are fair for the taste and the portion. There is ample parking space as well. Worth visiting for a relaxing dining experience.

The food at Pho99 Lazimpat was delicious, and the staff was friendly, which made for a pleasant dining experience. However, I was disappointed to see an additional 13% tax added to the bill. As of now, it is illegal in Nepal to charge extra taxes like this.

I urge anyone dining here to carefully check the menu and bill to ensure transparency. While the food quality is good, such practices tarnish the overall experience.

I finally made it to this charming Vietnamese restaurant, and let me tell you, it was worth the wait! As a newbie to Vietnamese cuisine, I was blown away by the amazing flavors of their dishes.

We started with the deep fried shrimp roll and the shrimp summer roll, both absolutely fantastic. And of course, we had to try their famous pho, which was pure perfection.

These dishes are a must-try. The flavors, attention to detail, and overall experience are outstanding. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the enjoyable atmosphere.

In short, this Vietnamese restaurant is a hidden gem. Don’t miss out on the chance to try their delicious food for yourself!

Great service! I’m Vietnamese (người việt) and the food such as pork chops and spring rolls are good. The pho needs more viet spices it currently does not taste like true pho but I commend them for trying.

We went for office lunch. Parking was available and a staff member greeted us and showed us table options.

The menu is overwhelming and would take time to decide if you are not used to Vietnamese dishes. However, friendly staffs will help you by describing the dish (meaning the waiter has sufficient idea of what a particular dish would be like). e.g. we asked to suggest dishes without coconut milk or sweet taste and we were provided with useful suggestions.

The waiting time is around 15 to 20mins. The portion sizes were just enough-not too less not too more (for foodies like us, we would not mind a slight bigger size for the prices). We ordered two dishes again as we still felt hungry after first order (may be because the food was tasty).

The ambience is silent and reflects Vietnamese architecture (I loved the Vietnamese hats on the ceilings) and the word Saigon on menu cover suggested authenticity (which was later proven when we met the friendly owner who us from Ho Chi Min city- had a brief chat about our vietnam trip with her too).

Ps: Dont miss the fried noodles.

We will be back to cover rest of menu soon
