I picked up my pizza and got home to eat it and there wasn’t hardly any sauce on it. Some spots had none and other spots very little. I called them and the line was busy for 30 min. I took my mom home came back and tried to call them again. I got through this time and they tried to tell me the sauce soaked into the pizza. They refused to do anything about it. The crust was also still doughy.

My girlfriend ordered a “Supreme” pizza for the family, while visiting friends in the area. After a 45+ minute wait, she was provided her order and quickly drove home so we could enjoy our meal together. Upon opening the box, we were both incredibly surprised to see what is in the attached picture. Maurizio’s appeared to have used an ALREADY cooked sausage and pepperoni pizza, before then adding onions, green peppers, mushrooms and ham as an afterthought. (The onions, mushrooms and green peppers weren’t even fully cooked and were cold to the touch.) The sausage and pepperoni are under the small amount of cheese, while everything else is simply tossed into the box.
I contacted the business and was told that I’d have to drive the pizza back to them, if I wanted a new pizza to be switched out. When I explained that this was difficult due to having just finished a 13 hour shift at work and being 25 minutes away, I was told that they didn’t think there was anything else they could do.
I’ve personally seen better pizzas being sold at a Hunt’s Bros gas station pizza display. Absolutely shocked that such a pizza was even placed into a box, cut into slices and allowed out of the restaurant door.

Maurizio’s has been in Brazil forever. They are the small town pizza place that adds a unique touch to our town. The staff are always friendly, the food is great and they are always upgrading the restaurant to try and make it better. They have ample parking and comfortable seats inside. Great for taking the family out.

The staff are excellent. The place is clean, especially the restroom. The crust is OK. The toppings were amazing! But we highly recommend a savory option for the sauce. I was an unsuspecting diabetic who doesn’t even eat the crust on pizza and the sauce could get me into trouble. We definitely would be back if we could choose sweet or savory.

The bread sticks and nachos were awesome. The pizza was good and loaded with toppings! The pizza sauce was much sweeter than I expected. The seating for six could have been bigger. Overall a good choice for dinner. I plan on returning again for the breadsticks and to try some of the other menu items.
