Antojitos BoriNic is a family-owned Puerto Rican and Nicaraguan restaurant in Houston, Texas, born from a dream to share the flavors and traditions of our two cultures. What started as a small food truck has grown into a welcoming space where every dish tells our story — from mofongo and arroz con gandules to fritanga nica, enchiladas nicas, tacos nicas, and tajadas con queso.Each plate is prepared fresh and made with love, bringing together the comfort of home and the authentic taste of the Caribbean and Central America. Our goal is to offer a warm, family-oriented dining experience that celebrates flavor, culture, and community — right here in the heart of Houston.

So glad to finally try this place! We enjoyed the small complimentary chips with a little bean dip, and had 2 fritangas- one with pork and one with beef.
I asked for some hot sauce and the waitress brought me a little bowl of some of their spicy salsa and it was delicious – mostly minced onions in a very tasty spicy sauce.
We will for sure come back and recommend!

Delicious food & good service. We ordered empanadas had a great flavor, mofongo with carne frita was moist and tasty. The kids mini fritanga was a good portion. The almond cake dessert was perfect not too sweet.

Great place for Nicaraguan food. So glad this place exist. I recommend Cacao, Pitaya or Chia with Tamarindo. The Carne Asada is chef’s kiss.. and love their Tacos Nica. Can’t wait to come back!!

I can’t tell how authentic it is as this is my first time trying out Nicaraguan cuisine. This is the closet Nicaraguan cruise out there as per a Nicaraguan native.So this place definitely has set the benchmark. The plantain dish was very flavorful. Beef was juicy and Cacao drink is unique. Enjoyed the food here!

Good food, not too much variety of puertoriquen or Nicaragua food. The dessert that the lady makes is good. If you guys want to try puertoriquen or Nicaragua food, just go to the ones that make authentic food.

If you’re looking for some great mofongo, this is the place! I had the Mar y Tierra and it was amazing. The steak was really well seasoned and cut like butter. Make sure to have a couple empanadas as well.
