First time back since it was previously Scola. Petunia did not disappoint. We started with the warm goat cheese appetizer an old favorite and the duck crostini. Our entrees were the filet mignon served medium rare with potato mash and broccolini and the cavatappi cipolla. Everything was very fresh and tasty. Hats off to chef Nick Price and his wonderful staff. We highly recommend visiting this gem of the Kara restaurant group.

I don’t think there’s enough space to adequately describe how delicious our meal was at Petunia on opening night. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’re at a friends house for dinner. It’s so intimate, inviting, and gorgeous inside! If you don’t start with bread and butter, ricotta meatballs, and crab mac bake, you will absolutely be sorry. Everything was incredible. The three of us made sure to order different entrees so we could taste as many dishes as possible. By the end of the meal, we could not pick a favorite. The salmon was cooked to perfection, the sauces were incredibly flavorful and tasted so fresh, and the portion sizes are BIG in the best way. It’s the perfect setting for a date night or a girls night, and we will absolutely come back sooner rather than later.

Wonderful experience! Food was delicious and the service was friendly! We went for my birthday and we ordered the burrata, meatballs, shrimp scampi and the venison bolognese. To top it off we split the tiramisu which was heavenly!

This places was amazing. It had a smaller menu, so it’s easier to choose what you’re getting. The decor is beautiful and gives off like over grown. Our waiter was very helpful, and nice. Now for the food: the meatballs were delicious. The bread was nice and warm. Tge gnocchi was very good. And so were all the other pasta dishes. I recommend going to this place highly, it is worth it.

Cute little place. Food was delicious! They seem to run out of things very quickly. I Wish they would bring out bread when you get seated like in other restaurants, I was a bit confused to see you had to pay it. Service was great.

Nestled just 10 minutes away from Avalon in the quaint town of Cape May Courthouse, our recent visit to this new restaurant was nothing short of spectacular. Despite the occasional delay from the bridge, the short journey was well worth it for the culinary experience that awaited us.
We started our meal with the bread tray, featuring fresh, homemade bread delivered straight to our table. The aroma and warmth of the bread set the perfect tone for the evening.
The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the pork chop. Prepared using the sous-vide method, the pork chop was vacuum-sealed with spices and cooked at a low temperature for hours. The result was a heavenly, moist chop that was as tender as butter—I could have easily cut it with my fork. It was a taste sensation that we never experienced before.
Our server, Jessica, was an absolute delight. Her bubbly and lively personality lit up the room from the moment we arrived. She was incredibly suggestive, offering great recommendations from the menu that perfectly suited our tastes. Jessica was always ready to help with a smile, making our dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Her warm and friendly demeanor made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Overall, Jessica’s exceptional service and vibrant energy added a special touch to our meal.
Also we enjoyed homemade pasta with a fabulous pork ragu sauce. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the ragu was rich and flavorful, making it an unforgettable dish.
Although we were tempted by the dessert menu, we found ourselves too full to indulge. Nonetheless, our dining experience left us completely satisfied and this meal was the best of our trip.
If you’re near Avalon and looking for an exceptional dining experience, this restaurant should be at the top of your list. We only wish there was a more extensive menu from this master chef. We can’t wait to return!
Please feel free to share this review. Ty.

Petunia is my new favorite spot to take friends and family for a delicious meal!!!! Everything about the place is pure magic – the service was incredible and the atmosphere was so cozy. We cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend ordering the beef carpaccio, wild mushroom arancini, spaghetti & meatballs, and limoncello dessert. Those were my favorites of the night but everything we had was honestly so good.
