The four of us had lunch at Phonomenal Vietnamese and we generally were not very impressed with the food, compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the city. There was no char on the grilled pork although the flavour was nice and the spring rolls didn’t taste very fresh — they were a little oily. The pickling on the vegetables was very nice though. Service was warm and friendly and very attentive.

spicy beef pho was decent, nothing special. the chicken wings were a disgrace to the chickens who died for this. seriously the worst chicken wings ive ever had in my life. they were fried but cold and soggy, with a thick flavourless tempura batter that should not be on chicken wings. completely unseasoned and dry yet soggy. genuinely gross and i couldnt even finish one. really sad.

I have ordered pho take out over 10 times recently. I might be addicted. Anyways it’s always really good and the staff are polite and the food is really good. Quality is consistent, and it is packaged well for takeout. Also I like the free cans of pop with orders over a certain value. Great job to this business

This is what I brought home. The broth is definitely not the same anymore and the rice noodles are too soggy. And fish sauce was first less chili paste, not diluted to clear. Everything less flavourful and for sure downhilled

Wow. I love this place & I can’t believe I’ve never written a review for them. This has been my pho place for the past 2.5 years and I actually can’t imagine who I’d be without this restaurant.
Every single time I come in here, I am greeted with the kindest welcome & the best service. I always bring my friends here and they have quickly grown to love this place like I do. The staff are so amazing and the food is just outstanding. I used to come here 3 times a week and honestly I have no regrets about it. I can’t wait to continue bringing more friends and individuals here to experience the gift that this restaurant has given me.

Amazing and delicious pho, service is very fast and welcoming. Great team of staff and the pho taste superb. The broth is rich and chicken is tender. Great that they have many meat options for people who can’t eat beef and pork so I really appreciate that! I totally recommend checking this place out! I’ve visited this place at least 5 times now and I will surely always come back when I’m craving pho!
